How about we just let halo die? Halo 1>2>3>odst>reach That's not in release date order, that in progression of how each one was worse than the last, albeit 1>2 could be debatable..

Notice a recurring theme here?!
Yeah, Bungie should totally stop working on Halo. They should give up the rights to the IP and sign up with a completely different publisher who will have them work on something else altogether.

Oh wait, they did.

I met indefinitely - like EVERYONE, if we just all ignore it, it might stop..
Halo Reach worse than ODST? I want some of whatever you've been smoking :p
also debatable..

You finished that achieve for campaign on legendary alone? ¬_¬

Atleast ODST has 3's multiplayer!!
First off Reach has awesome multiplayer, but that opinion aside.

Is having Halo 3's multiplayer really a point in ODST's favor? After all, it is HALO 3's multiplayer, not ODST's multiplayer. At least Reach brought something new to the table.
Reach had classes, dunno whether you noticed, but it takes no skill the whore out armour lock, and having their team mate kill you while you aren't looking? etc.etc., if reach had stuck to it's basic oldschool halo multiplayer it would've owned..

Yes, BUT odst brought all the maps over, and to those that are yet to fork out for a bigger hard drive :)S) saving a gig was quite useful ^-^
Armor lock may be used cheaply by beginners, but most people don't actually grasp how to use it properly, and like most cheap moves in a decently balanced game, it's easily countered by experienced players.

Pro tip: Don't stand next to someone in armor lock

If their teammate kills you while you aren't looking, how is that Reach's multiplayer's fault? You weren't looking, he shot you, that's your fault.

ITT: trolls be trollin'.

I hadn't heard anything about Bungie MMO rumors prior to this, so it was sorta out of left field for me. Regardless, happy to hear Bungie's currently not planning (or at least not admitting to plans of) an MMO. I can't say I have any love for their recent games - they're alright games, but nothing that gripped me (and I didn't own the system to run most of them anyway, so...yeah) - but I have respect for Bungie as a developer enough to look forward to their future projects all the same.

You really got me thinking though any second rate developer that can release the same game five times and have not a single fanboi notice is pure genius. I tip my hat to Bungie, masterminds of the bland and generic, masters of the repetitive and tedious. Here's to Generic Sci-Fi console FPS #7 or GSFCF Part 7: Revenge of the Uninteresting, good luck to you Bungie, true weavers of mediocrity.
Ahhhh, so, according to you, there is no 'good' developer out there?
Not one?
Try looking at the thing objectively for a change.
I don't own a 360, or an Xbox, and I think that the Halo series is boring, however, in lieu of all that, when I look at a Halo game, particularly the online segment, I can see the sheer amount of quality work that has been put in by the developer for the community to ensure that everything runs as it should. I can appreciate the little touches, like the fileshare, or an easy-to-use theatre mode, or searching for people who play like you, or the myriad of different official game modes alongside the user created ones etc.
Yet despite the obvious effort that Bungie puts into creating an actually finished product, there are still people who think that they are a 'bad' developer?
So, once again, what do you think is a 'good' developer?

I don't think you'll get a response out of him that isn't implying your a fanboy, and insulting Bungie with out giving in depth reasons on why they're bad according to him.
I swear, from the vendetta he has against Halo and Bungie, you'd think they shot his dog.

When I'm standing there waiting for the 2 second mark to throw a grenade, and I in turn get shot or killed by someone far away enough as to not appear on my radar it's not exactly my fault

I see what you're getting at, I just personally don't think it's that balanced :S
In the weeks I had the game I never saw a game that was closely won, it was always by a mile..
I guess my question would be why do you just stand there staring at the armor locked guy while waiting? There is a perfectly fine audio cue to tell you when he unlocks, so you can pay attention to your surroundings.

I like to throw grenades to just kill them, I once had a guy with a shotgun in armour lock (didn't realise) I turned, killed his buddy (I was pretty chuffed, he came out of no where and it isn't a recurring theme for me to do that) turned and died..

I also note that when I use armour lock my team mates take NO notice what so ever,

I did eventually start using invisibility, and popping it and sitting near them but I didn't like using a specific class just to counter one thing and pick up the odd power weapon
Well, even though you "like" to throw grenades at them, if that strategy doesn't work, don't use it, don't blame the game for that. I'm sure there are lots of things people would like to work that aren't effective strategies. If that guy was close to you and had a shotgun, he deserved that kill, and it wasn't because armor lock is a cheap ability, it was because he was close to you and had a shotgun.

Ok this quoting is getting out of hand =-="

You don't think that almost killing someone just to watch them pop into armour lock and - for whatever the reason - you then dying isn't kinda cheap?
No I don't, because it denies them the use of a different equally helpful ability.
