Far too early to sack the guy, especially as I don't think that Liverpool could (in current predicament) entice someone of similar/better ability to take the reins.
You sure? A big club like Liverpool? It has good players but Rafael has made them stagnant and mediocre, we need a new injection of passion and a new style, a new plan of action. Also, he has spent too much money on the wrong players. Bye Bye Benitez!
Just to make sure I don't get accused of anything before I respond, I'd like to mention I'm a Brighton fan (hence name) and hold no allegiance to any Premier League team in the slightest.

*exhales*

I think Benitez is doing the best he can with the players at his disposal as, from a neutral perpective, I don't see that Liverpool actually has that many players of the standard required to win any trophies this year. Yes, Torres and Gerrard are world class with Reina not far behind but after that the quality of players seems to tail off quite alarmingly (N'gog, Lucas et al). Considering this, as well as the start to the season that Liverpool have had (effectively ruling the league out early on) I can't see why a big name manager would want to jump in and take the helm.

Of course the end of the season is another matter entirely. Can see someone else there at the start of 10/11 if they're promised funds and an endless supply of cookies.
Well I'm technically a Wrexham fan, down in the lowly blue square premier. I do like Liverpool and have always followed them, but i go and see Wrexham becasue it's far closer

No, he should not leave. The season has only just started.
Why do people have to get so hysterical over things like this?
A manager loses a few games and people like you are calling for him to be burned at the stake.
It's the crappy owners who are constantly undermining him who should be kicked out.
Absolutely seconded.

They have lost a few matches... that is not the end of the world. He came close to winning the title last year and a few years ago won the European Cup. His team has been blighted by injuries so far so he hasn't had a run of luck. But he has still been a good manager. I don't like this new trend within football of managers having to deliver instant success all the time. If you look at the two most successful managers in the league (Wenger and Ferguson) they have had the time to build their teams and been giving the breathing space to get on with it.
Exactly. A fully fit team will do some damage. It's a shame people over react. YNWA.

the owners are selling there shares in other companies to keep liverpool running but they need to stop relying on a couple of players. also i hate how ppl will love a manager then after two games calling for him to be sacked ..... pick one option and stay with it

Despite being an Arsenal fan I have a lot of respect for Benitez. I guess although he has not won the Premiership, he has not caused Liverpool to drop down the league. At least you guys have won the Champions League...

I'd say give him till the end of the season at least. I can't complain since a few Gooners are calling for Wenger's head after 4 trophyless seasons.
I dunno it might indeed be time to give wenger that sack come the end of the season ,but who the hell could replace him? the man`s a premiership mainstay with an amazing list of contacts that have landed him the most consitent youth academy in the prem and the world with the exception of barca he`s put together an amazing team that given the quality of the players really is underperforming though no matter what he`s kept you in the top four (although at time he`s done it through sheer luck, this is coming from a red ,notts forest i mean not scousers , if anyone calls me or forest a/the "tricky tree(s)" i swear to god the internet will not protect you from my rage powered fists )
