Complained about it before. Shot down by certain forum members for being a hater.

Probably gonna watch the same 2 jump on here and defend Activision again while calling us all haters again.

Build a game that relies on the players, not you. If you can run WoW, then CoD should be a walk in the park.
Well yeah. Clearly if you say something negative about the CoD franchise, you're just on the hate bandwagon, and don't have a legitimate point. /sarcasm

I've posted legitimate reasons in multiple threads, but CoD defenders just ignore them, because it's easier to argue with the people who just shout that it's bad.

The PC version of the game has its share of rank hackers, and the occasional wall / headshot script hacker. It's equal parts sad and pathetic, but that's what you roll with when you play on PC.
Personally, that game is fun, but also frustrating. It's getting to the stage where people are forgoing aiming down the sights, as hipfire spraying with SMGs is just so powerful and effective. Yawn :(
Yeah, there have never been glitches/hacks in the console version.

Oh wait, I quit playing MW2 because of infinite supply drop on the PS3. That and I'd already had enough CoD4.

It's people like you that contribute to the mindset of "LOL ONLY PC HAS THIS PROBLEM" even if you are slightly more eloquent about it. It's saying the same thing.
As I have never played the game on console, I certainly can't make a comment about my experience on it can I? However, I can comment on the PC version and MY experience. Did I say 'The PC version of this game exclusively has this problem?'. No I didn't. Yes I have heard of the problem IW had with the PS3 and hackers. I prefaced my post with 'The PC version has its share'. That would imply it 'shares' the same problems and is not exclusive.

I don't mind too much since I got my Elite for free but they should have not been in this situation to start with. It should have been ready to go with the expectations of what would be required of it and the sheer volume of traffic it would get.

Don't worry, I had a dig at Elite too saying it was a waste of time and it won't work right.

People argued that it was the best thing since free internet porn .. er .. sliced bread, yes that's what I meant.

And would you look at that, it doesn't work right.

Something like that, that can't be tested on the scale it's going to be used is bound to fall on it's arse.

Now I don't hate CoD and I don't hate Activision (i'm indifferent, hate is far too much emotion to drag up for things I don't give a rats ass about), however, lets have a show of hands for all those that thought Elite would work perfectly without any glitches.

I'm not that familiar with CoD Elite (given how I could care less about all of the features that it gives out or the game in general), but from what I've heard that it gives out, does anyone get the impression that they're just trying to restrict certain multiplayer goodies and aspects that normally go with the actual game in order to squeeze a little extra money out of their consumers?

It seems kinda logical; the CoD series has always been a very profitable and lucrative business, so of course launching a social network dedicated entirely to the CoD series would attract a lot of its fanbase and generate some extra revenue, but does anyone feel this is a bit unfair?

Also, if they're having problems THIS early, either they never beta-tested it or CoD Elite really is just a quick cash-grab and no real effort was put into its development.

Or it was made by Obsidian seekritly. ^.^
