I'm watching a cute lesbian japanese movie I've been saving for the occasion. There is love out there, even if it's light years away from where I am at.

Well, I have to work my restaurant job that night, so I'll be simultaneously distracted and constantly reminded of Valentine's Day. It's all gonna be okay though; good tips that night! :D

Well I asked a girl if she wanted to go to sushi last week.....

I had no clue that the day we arranged was actually Valentines day, Tuesday just happens to be convenient for us.

Im still single but I kind of sort of have a date : \

Normally I wouldn't give a fuck. This Valentine's Day, however, will be spent knowing the girl I want is celebrating it with her boyfriend. Not going to be very happy tomorrow.

Mass Effect 3 demo. Until my eyes bleed. I've never done much for Valentines' Day, regardless of my current relationship situation. I love festivities in general, but eh, this one was never a biggie.

Spending the night with the Reapers, Ahhhh yeah.

Eating
Drinking
Staying at a comfortable temperature
Avoiding life-threatening situations

It's already pretty much over in Australia, and apart from one or two people carrying flowers, there was no sign it was valentines day nor did anyone where I study care about Valentine's day.

Anyhow, it was a nice enough, sunny day, I got a lot of work done, had some fun talking with friends and colleagues, got a good book and treated it like any other day. And that's how I got through it. By ignoring it.

I don't hate valentines day - it's fun for sappy couples, and hey, that's great for them. It's nice that they have a holiday. And while they're off doing... whatever it is they do on Valentine's day, I'll be sitting in the Pathology Museum examining a case of severe right ventricular hypertrophy.

I broke up with my girlfriend exactly 24 hours before Valentine's day. And now I'm really sad. I wasn't even thinking of posting in this thread, but eh... Now that I'm single too, I guess I can.

I'll spend it trying not to think about her and trying not to weep.

Survive? Please. The only way yesterday would have been any way unpleasant if I was in a relationship and was stressing over presents ect. Though as it stands all Valentines day was for me was part of my 2 remaining weeks holidays, which I cherish.

I'm gonna deal with it by playing the ME3 demo for the rest of the day, as soon as it downloads. Funnily enough, EA/Bioware have shown more kindness to me this day than any human outside of my family.
