I own an official copy of The Bro Code by Barney Stinson. This makes me awesome

OT: Yes. My friend Becky is my bro. She always stands by me when I need her and for whatever I need her

It's a concept, you can do what the hell you like with it.
Brodom is no concept. It is a way of life. Do not underestimate the power of a bro. Having someone willing to do anything for you, and someone you are willing to do anything for can be very useful, and dangerous, at times.
You know, there is a word that describes this very relationship AND has been in use since the dawn of english as a seperate language. The word is "friend", possibly with modifiers like "close" and "trusted" or, if you're feeling really sure, "best" and "devoted".

Yeah a girl can be a 'bro.' One of my closest friends is a girl and while i don't use the term personally, I would consider her a 'bro'

Eh, it's probably no worse than approaching a group of girls and saying "hey guys" instead of "hey girls" as a greeting.

The Bro Code specifically states that a female can in fact be a Bro.

Well, the saying goes "bros before hoes", right? Well, not all women are "hoes". Therefore, some women must be "bros"! =D

I know, a silly statement. But then again, this is a silly discussion.

I think they could, it seems that "bro" describes a persons commitment and helpfulness to another person, not there gender. But it is called "bro" so maybe that implies that they have to be male. Its pretty irrelevant though.

I doubt it, by your logic it would mean all girls are either Bros or Hoes, and most girls are neither.

She can, but she has to be gay. Otherwise it's a no, even then she still isn't really a full fledge bro, but she can suffice. My second best friend is a girl, but she isn't my bro and never will be. She's my sis.
Part of being a bro is also talking about girls and sex, that's a bit harder to do with a girl I would say. This problem is somewhat solved if the girl in question is gay, but still not quiet the same.

Yes. You can. I know a girl that didn't greet with me and other males by kiss on the cheek or handshake, but with fist-bump. Seriously.

Oh yes, they can be. I am to someone! Some say I make a great wingman. Or wingwoman, in this case.

I'm a girl and my flatmate Alex is 'my boy' while I'm 'his girl'. Not in a sexual way, just that we're practically bro's but we don't really wanna call it that. But yeah, girls can definitely be bro's.

I don't see why they couldn't be, over the years I've met plenty of girls that would do anything to help out a mate in any situation.

Yes, as long as she's the the cool, rock'n'roll kind of wiry, man-shaped lesbian. You know the kind I'm talking about. Otherwise, no, they're just too chickish.

Yep girls can easily be girls, very useful to give you a female persepective on things, such as why people lead on, and why that ***** dumped you.. suddenly everything makes sense..

Its often stated that if the male and female brains were merged then we would know everything about the universe, but since thats impossible, girl bros are the next best thing..
