Wait, so they're saying that Duke Nukem can be a feminist icon because he's so appalling to them that they'll get a lot of mileage out of protesting him?

Duke Nukem is like Arnold's character in True Lies; an affectionate parody of the action hero and his antics while at the same time indulging in them but never with a quick wink and a nod to the fourth wall. I mean the coolest thing about Duke is he's fighting the good fight; but he's having fun at the same time and thus we enjoy ourselves too.
