And women's rights organisations wonder why they are no longer taken seriously... Don't take duke serious. If you do... visit a shrink.

You sir, are talking wank.

EDIT: You maam, are talking wank.
Prove me wrong. Feminists do NOTHING to help women, unless you totally agree with their anti-man, anti-family BS agenda

Feminists believe in equality between men and women, not superiority.
WRONG. Feminists HATE men and believe women are superior. They also hate the idea of family and equate it with slavery.

I've always thought of Duke Nukem as being a parody of macho culture and misogyny anyway, rather than a straight example of it.
Exactly. Duke is far too cartoonish to be offensive. But I see this as Pitchford just trying to drum up a little extra PR, is all, using the fact that certain women *will* ***** about the game and using it to his company's advantage.

Nobody plays Duke Nukem for moral crap like this, it's all about pure fun.

I think that people overanalize games to much but Duke Nukem can't be a feminist hero never ever and i don't need to explain why

"Feminism refers to movements aimed at defining, establishing and defending equal political, economic, and social rights and equal opportunities for women" Wiki

Sorry, your concept of feminism is incorrect. I however have no interest in getting involved in a mud slinging match so will end this conversation here. Good day.
Well id say your 50% right and 50% wrong. Yes there are feminists that are for equal rights but can you say that they truly want equality? In my debate I asked this question women strive to be equal to man, if full equality was atainable, would you be willing to sacrifice your seprate protection laws or segregation restrooms/locker rooms to be a complete equal? That question alone says they want to equal but are not wanting to have to give up a basic seperation. Hell womens rights at one point proposed allowing women to serve in special forces but at the expense of reducing the amount of special training needed for survival how is that equality? If a women cannot compete with a man in physical training why would they dumb it down? How about women reporters sueing for the right to interview male athletes in thier locker room and getting that right but male reporters still cant enter a female athletes locker room for interviews? Again how is that equality? Thats not equality. There are still alot of Women need to get over the whole prudness if they are truly geniune about equality.

I looked at the title of this thread and my first answer was... meh, maybe. He never hurts women, not to mention he kills every man he sees... so I guess thats a 1-Up for the Duke.

That's what the ORIGINAL feminists believed. Not the left wingers that call themselves feminists today.

So instead of dealing with real issues, they're going to use a self-parody of uber-machoism as a Strawman. Nice going ladies, will you put a pig in a suit next?

I can't wait until 40-something housewives who've never picked up a controller, let alone heard of Duke Nukem, ***** and moan to Oprah and Tyra.
