Can we invoke a new rule?

Due to the substantial amount of threads(Yes, I am overexaggerating) of these fake relationship threads that devolve into "leet speak", can we please invoke a new rule to ban any new user who posts a relationship thread as their first post?

This eliminates the possibility of this particular troll trolling us with the same thread over and over, and for those honest people who came to us for proper relationship advice, who forget that this is first and foremost a gaming forum, it gets rid of such undesirables anyway.

We'll see the worst the week coming up to Valentine's day. All the 13-15 year old girls going to absolutely any forum for advice.

nah because some people might be lurking around this site, see what great people we are (hifives all around guys) and run into a problem and then post it.

I'd like to see filter that could insta-probation anyone that makes a post in 2 words or less. This the THIS or FIRST would be taken care of

I have a better idea.
As a community, we could simply decide that the people who troll this site are not worth the time it would take to respond to.
Even if you have a wonderfully eloquent point to make about whatever troll is on here, and you really, really want to make your spectacular putdown or what have you, simply leave their thread and go about your browsing in other ones.
Not that I actually expect people to follow this idea, but it'd be nice.

And the Off Topic Section exists for a reason...nearly anything that isn't Game related is welcome to be posted there.
Including those relationship threads, tiring though they are.

I saw that one. Then he got banned, came back and made another thread asking for help, which then slowly became a leet speak thread.

I think it would be a better idea to have a posting minimum before users are given the privilege of creating threads. Trolls would have to be at the very least determined if nothing else.

First off, you've been here how long?
We do not usually ban new users for a first offence.
We let them off with a warning, probation, or sometimes a suspension.

Secondly, if it is in the off-topic discussion, we welcome almost anything.
If you dislike the thread, ignore it.
