I managed to beat him with Jean-Luc Picard on the first round (he ended up guessing James Watson), but in the second round he nailed it.

I failed with Gordon Ramsay and Slender Man.

EDIT 1: Managed to beat him in the first round but lose in the second with Will Wright.

EDIT 2: Failed with Tetsuo Shima, but won in the first round but fail in the second with Michelle Bachmann.

EDIT 3: Going historical, failed with Rameses II, won first round but lost second with Cao Cao.

EDIT 4: Getting better! Won first AND second rounds, lost the third with the ancient Roman dictator Sulla.

EDIT 5: Finally beat him with King Henry VI of England!

Oh wow I totally forgot how fun this thing is. I found him about 4 years ago in high school, he could never guess what I thought of until I got lazy and thought of "captian falcon".

It took it two tries to come up with Legion. The first try had it guessing Garrus.

I tried Darth Sion next. It guessed Darth Malak first. Than it guessed Darth Sion.

Then I tried Deacon Publicover from the Video Games Awesome webshow from Youtube. It first gave me Haxornova or whoever. Than it guessed Deacon on the second try.

Next I tried Alduin and he guessed it on the first try.

Then I tried Naoto Shirogane and he guessed it on the first try.

Tried The Arbiter and it guessed Slenderman. Then Mr. Game and watch. Than it got Arbiter.

I decided to play some more today, and after reloading the page, it looks different, has a different (slightly) web address, and requires more questions before he gives up (yesterday, he always gave up at 60 questions - now he keeps going... forever?

I can't tell from the way you wrote that - are you saying that you're one of the admin/creators of Akinator and that you submitted an update for that express purpose? Or are you just a fan like I am making an observation?

Because clearly there was some sort of update.

However, adding extra answers doesn't explain why the GUI has gotten less friendly (and more primitive) or why the address changed from http://us.akinator.com/ to http://en.akinator.com/

I think i just got really fucking lucky. Funnily enough he easily guessed link, and Ankator.
