Our government is run by morons. The mint being run by a bunch of 10 year old's is a step up from what we're used to.

Yeah its pretty well known (in the UK anyway) that the Canadian PM is about as popular as the coalition government in the UK.

Not actually true... he has a very large, but quiet, fanbase (myself included). Remember, he went from a minority government to a majority.

On another note, I heard from someone who works at the national gaming (ie. gambling) coalition (or whatever it is) that we're getting $5 coins. Those'll be fun.

Yeah... but a majority government with less than 40% of the popular vote... and with only about a 60% turnout of eligible voters. And seriously, I am pretty right leaning myself politically, but Harper just lies. Constantly. And poorly.

Anyway, I really don't want $5 coins myself. I don't like carrying change around: it's dumb D:<

I also hate our new plastic bills (the $100 and $50) and I want to keep my damn pennies!

As a cashier, I say screw your preferences to hell. D:<

Every fifth paper bill I'm given is a blatant fake, and they don't have a convincing fake plastic bill. Plus, they don't rip. No more people swearing at me because I don't accept 2/3 of a $50 bill!

Also, pennies are about ten different kinds of evil. Morale at work went up noticeably following the penny discontinuation announcement.
