As far as neighbors go, Canada is pretty decent, especially when compared to Mexico.

My only gripe is that...

Canadians are cool (badum-tsh!)

Yeah it's hard to find a bad thing about Canada and Canadians in general. I could say that Canada is a bit chilly, but that's not the Canadians fault really.

It's a country...with people...seems stable...sure, why wouldn't I like Canadians? Or any population of people, in general?

Canada seems like a cool place. I've had a lot of friends from there. I do kinda wish you would smuggle more grass across our borders though, Mexico needs competition.

Yuck Yuck Yuck! Canadians don't exists. We have all heard some legends of those legends of people living in those uninhabited woods up north, but don't believe them!

Some of my best friends are Canadians, seriously, they lived in Florida for years but ended up staying in Canada after a trip to see their grand kids when the border was all narcy after 9/11. Great fucking country, I'll probably move there one day.

My friend who studies in Canada says the internet is absolutely horrible with data limits and slow speeds.

So, no. I don't like Canada.

Yeah, pretty much. Our cell plans are also tripe of the highest caliber, and we get price gouged on anything coming from the US. But hey, whatever.

im from Canada and it appears our beer is too strong for you maby you neeed some strawberry coolers and french fancies and a lovely secnted bath!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Calm down, calm down. I think he was just talking about the taste. Though would anyone really drink beer at all if it didn't make you drunk? I'm serious. If beer or any alcohol at all didn't make you drunk, would you ever drink it? I think we can all agree alcohol didn't get where it is today because of its taste.

One of my favorite peoples is Canadian.

Also, they duct-taped Parliament during repairs. That takes some serious fortitude. It says to me that they're not putting on airs, they're getting the job done with whatever it takes. Duct-tape is awesome.

That big, cold landmass above my country is quite alright.

I know people that honestly enjoy the taste of IPA. They are not my friends, and I fear/loathe them.

your trying to stir up controversy...using Canadians?!?!? good luck with that.

OT:they seem like people pure and simple they overall seem like a nice bunch(aside from that riot but then again what country worth its salt hasn't had a riot)

I like my neighbors to the north quite a bit, actually. I grew up in New Hampshire, USA, and we used to take vacations in Canada from time to time.

The only bad experience I've ever really had in Canada (or with Canadians in general) involved a group of people from Quebec being extremely rude to my parents in a restaurant for reasons that I don't recall ever being clear. I don't think my parents provoked them in any way, certainly not intentionally (they're extremely nice people; more so than I think I'll ever be capable of). But I'm not one to let the actions of a few condemn the whole. Some people are just jerks, and that's something that transcends nationality.

But yeah... if I had enough financial stability to move somewhere, Canada would be pretty close to the top of the list.

Everyone I know likes Canadians, especially so because they are very regularly compared to Americans.

Pretty much everyone comes up on the better side of that comparison. Although I don't mean to imply that Americans suck, that's just the way that most people I know view Americans.

I actually don't mind them, I got along really well with the only American I ever met who wasn't a tourist. (It's a slight distinction, the difference between people who're here for a couple of days vs people who come here to work. It's noticeable when you work in hospitality.)
