What does it matter what happens to a dead body, so long as it isn't rotting somewhere? Seems like most people would be more concerned with the murder to me.

No cannibalism for me, thanks. Not only is it yuck, but humans are filthy creatures. What if they needed a shower or something?
Well, I wouldn't want to kill the guy. There's no point. I mean, I'm going to die eventually - when it happens is really not that important to me. To be honest, I'm kinda looking forward to death. Not much in this world I'm gonna miss.
That said, I am very curious as to what human tastes like. So yeah, if he dies first, I'd dig right in. Here's hoping he has a fair amount of fat on him - lean meat is so boring!
Actually, to elaborate (and point out that I'm not entirely joking), I had just such a discussion on my first date (I'm 24, but yes, said date was a month or so ago). I've been wondering about the taste of human flesh so much that I decided that, when I start bothering to think about my will, I may just throw in a clause that states that I am to be served at my funeral. You know, so that other people will get a chance to try out human, even if I don't.
Naturally, such a thing may be illegal, but laws are dumb, and there are always ways around them (if there weren't, I'd go insane).
So yeah, the girl portion of the date thought that was awesome, and volunteered to do the cooking and stuff - or, at least, oversee it so as to be sure that said clause in my will is followed. She is, apparently, as curious about the taste of human as I am, and was excited that she'd get to taste some at some point in the future. It was a fun conversation.

I'm not going to argue that eating a person would barely give you enough nutrition to live for a day, instead I'll just say: if it would work and I would live, hell yes I'd eat them.
It'd be the perfect way to move up to second-level vegan, assuming they weren't vegan themselves.

While I wouldn't kill him, I'd eat him if he was already dead... of course, I'd have to be pretty sure his death was from dehydration or starvation, not some contagious disease, although in that close of proximity I'd probably be screwed anyway.

If it's all I had to eat I'd kill and eat someone I didn't know to sustain my own life. Everyone here that says they wouldn't probably would too. They say they wouldn't, but I doubt very much they know what starving to death feels like.
If you DO know what starving to death feels like and you still don't think you'd kill and eat another person- conratulations. You have a much stronger moral center than I and all that. I doubt anyone with internet access and time to kill on the Escapist has ever been without food for an extended period of time though.
