Can't stop Rockin

Yeah I'm a rocker. So I thought I'd share this with you.

Now, I need a purpose for this thread.

Just tell me your general thoughts on this song, and Rock. Personally I love it. Been to ozzfest 4 times, and plenty of other concerts. And I have the hearing loss to prove it. Gonna rock till the day I die.

The only music I dislike is country, but I don't hate it. It's mostly because I hear the same ol shit over and over again, and I got burned out on it. But some of it I like.

It's kinda catchy. I like ZZ Top because they always manage to think up really catchy guitar riffs.

As for rock as a whole, it is also my music of choice. But there's so many subgenres nowadays, I can hardly keep up, and I'm sure there's some of it that I don't like.

I'm a metal head as well. Usually I don't try to pay attention to sub-genres. If it gets radio play, I'll give it a listen.

Actually I mostly love rock because it gave birth to the (IMO of course) superior genres of metal.

Thanks, Generator! Record deal seems ambitious, right now I'd settle for a drummer who would stick with me and play my music. I've had plenty of offers to play guitar in other bands, but that would be playing covers and just a few original tunes(which weren't to my taste). I've been teaching a friend of mine to drum, and she has been catching on pretty quickly. So maybe that will be a way in to a sustainable band...she's my best friend so it seems pretty ideal!

Exactly what I did, no...not really(damn!...why didn't I do that?) The reality(as is usually the case)was far less cool.
Him: I want to sound more like Coldplay, so I don't think this is going to work out.
Me: But...there's already a Coldplay, they're called "Coldplay"...there's already a band like coldplay too, Snow Patrol...where does it stop?
Him: Yeh, but it's what I like now.
Me: *exhales slowly* Alright, c ya.

A shame really, the guy could really play.
