You can't understand or you can't sympathize? Because it should be very easy to understand: nine months and content that should have been in the original.Durxom said:I don't understand why people get mad at this...you are buying more content =/
He could throw the Objection! logo at his enemies, point at them rather than punch and present evidence!Entamrik said:I can't believe this Is the comment I say this to but... You're being too harsh on Capcom XDThe Wykydtron said:Did they add Phoenix Wri- aww damn it... Well Capcom looks like you're still not getting my money.
How's he supposed to fight, Sue them for assault?!?
Ya, and the same thing happened with SF4 and SSF4, and has happened with every other fighting game ever. That's how they work and what makes a new fighting game. Some genres add new content with a new story, or some new levels, or areas. Fighting games add them with new balance patches, new characters, and new areas to fight.DustyDrB said:You can't understand or you can't sympathize? It didn't happen with Marvel vs Capcom 1 or 2. And they had more of an excuse to release an Ultimate version then because they couldn't simply patch it.Durxom said:Ya, and the same thing happened with SF4 and SSF4, and has happened with every other fighting game ever. That and the game like SSF4 is not being released at full price but as $40, so you are paying less for a game that has more...I don't get it the hate..
Durxom said:Its getting the same expansion price that SSF4 got, $40.Ranorak said:Wait, so it's the same engine, game and characters?
But with a few new fighters, and a online mode.... for full price?
Ahahahhaaaa... no.
And its a fighting game update...meaning new characters, new stages, balance tweaks and updates, online updates and other things.
I don't understand why people get mad at this...you are buying more content =/
Thank you for pointing out that the price is not, as I thought, full price.starwarsgeek said:Did you read the article that article in the first post?Ranorak said:Wait, so it's the same engine, game and characters?

"Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 releases this November for $39.99."
Same as Super Street Fighter 4.
It's basically an expansion pack, so obviously it will use the same engine and keep the old characters.
Name me 1 fighting game that has updated/patched this amount of content (characters, balance, and new modes) and has not charged for it.DustyDrB said:-snip-
True, but considering the DLC alternative (paying $5 for each character added since the original release would cost $70), I'll take the $40 retail. Hopefully, Gamestop will have some kind of trade-in bonus with the original version.Ranorak said:Thank you for pointing out that the price is not, as I thought, full price.
Still a bit too high, though.
