I guess that's completely dependent on whether they want it to be Nobunaga or not. It would be interesting for a prequel and have it at the heart of the Mongol Invasion (in an Onimusha style of course, demon Mongol Invasion, technically they could still do it) but the website was just updated it says the numbers 1600 now. I was going to say that Nobunaga was dead by around 1580 but then I forgot he's a Demon in the game.

Either way, revived demon Mongol Horde? Yes please.

Don't forget Time Traveling! They did it once in Onimusha 3. So technically, they can have you slaughter any historical figure from any time figure from any point in history at the time of your deus ex machina's choosing.
