It looks home made to me. It's good, but not commercially so.

I know enough about Okami to know that it isn't the type of game for me. Sorry, but it's just my opinon.

Was Okami popular? sure. Was it good? To some people yes, but I just think the characters are annoying (Namely the speech. That would drive me crazy after five minutes.). They try to create a colorful and lively place and while it may appeal to some people it doesn't really appeal or interest me.
