Huh... I remember seeing the Cell Saga on Toonami.

I wasn't saying it was never on there but around the time I started watching DBZ,thats what was going on.

Cartoon Network used to be so awesome. They had GOOD anime and awesome shows like samurai jack, megas xlr, justice league unlimited and so many others. Now...now its just garbage. Cheaply made garbage. G4 took the same route from awesome to,*G4 boss gets smashed in the head with a frying pan* "Hey if we show cops 20 hours a day people will love us!"

Regular Show and Mad are 15 minutes long and, I haven't seen many new episodes of Chowder. Also, What happened to Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends?

Another gripe: How did Ed Edd n' Eddy survive so long but Dexter's Lab and, Johnny Bravo not?

edit: Also: Why do they play Tom and Jerry but not the Looney Tunes!? Everything Tom and Jerry have done was also done by the Looney Tunes only better. Cartoon Network is also showing live action shows. You are Cartoon Network, a network for cartoons! It's really hard to screw that up and yet there you go!
Uh, Ed, Edd and Eddy got renewed only for an extra season or two in comparison to the aforementioned shows. And why? Because it's a god tier show on that network.

I used to have a pretty big disdain for CN, but there are four things making me watch it lately:
1. Sym-Bionic Titan
2. Regular Show
3. Adventure Time
4. Monday thru Friday airings of Ed, Edd and Eddy

Still waiting on a complete box set release for E,E & E though. I don't see why PPG got one and not the former.

Yea they canceled "Batman: Brave and the Bold"
And now all they have is a bunch of shitty reality shows.

FUCK YOU CARTOON NETWORK
Huh...? Its still on, new episodes too. The one this past Friday involved Batman teaming up with the "Doom Patrol".
Yeah I just looked it up to confirm it, it is in no way cancelled. I guess people are jumping to conclusions with a lot of things.
Yeah, it was announced, during Comicon 2010 though, that after Season 3 the show will end, but right now we're still in the midst of season 2.
Well then that is a far way off and doesn't seem to be cartoon networks idea to cancel it, it is just has a planed ending from the studio. Thats not such a bad thing provided it gets there, Spectacular Spider man was intended to be about 60 episodes but got canceled after 2 sessions do to poor viewership and the Disney buy out, and let me tell you that sort of thing sucks.

You do know I did an entire fucking thread [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/forums/read/18.209746-Cartoons-of-the-90s] on this subject yes?

FYI Ed, Edd, n' Eddy was renewed by Nickelodeon and is scheduled to air next year sometime.
Warner Bros has released multiple collections of their older 90's shows on DVD.
Finally, for those of you being pissed that CN cancelled shows that were doing great... Well the creators of the show signed a contract with CN saying 7 years of that show, and then you're done.

I swear to god, let me run CN's programming for ONE day, i guarantee i could bring in more revenue then they could in a month.

Animaniacs
Tiny Toon Adventures
Dexter's Lab
Powerpuff Girls
Samurai Jack
Reboot (Back when Toonami had this on every day)
Swat Kats

And i know Disney would never allow it but:
Ducktales
Chip and Dales Rescue Rangers
Talespin
Bonkers
Darkwing Duck

I dare you to name one good show still on Caritoon Network (well, I mean like premiering ones with NEW episodes so no Courage reruns, etc.)
Sym-bionic Titan. It's made by the same guy that created Samurai Jack. It has had to hand fighting, humor, great visuals, the sound effects of Samurai Jack and The Power Puff Girls, and giant robots. And I shit you not my good sir that this new show balances everything just perfect: humor and action and big and small fighting, etc.

but really which giant robot show would you watch

I think they're beginning to get better now, what with the new Scooby-Doo cartoon (It's actually good!) and moving some of the old shows into the lineup. But I'm angry because Batman: The Brave and the Bold is canceled. D: And they only show it once a week!

And I'm recording all the episodes of Samurai Jack when they come on Boomerang (They show an episode every night :D).

And Cartoon Network could use more Looney Tunes.

Why has nobody talked about The grim adventures of Billy and Mandy? I loved that show.
Now all I watch is Regular Show and Adventure Time.
And how did Mad get a show?

If they at least showed Adventure Time on regular daily basis I would forgive them. But no.

it funny you should say that because if my memory is correct, every other year or so, they hold a contest to allow 1 person to put what they wanted on cartoon network for a day. they never tell you who won, when the day was or what was going to be on but hey, its a whole day.

We're all pissed off at Cartoon Network's fall from grace, between their terrible reality shows and their equally terrible Total Drama Whatever and 6Teen crap. I think they kind of realized their mistake, though, they're getting better. They've taken away most of their reality shows and brought in Chowder (alas, it's gone now), The Marvelous Misadventures of Flapjack, Adventure Time with Finn and Jake (my personal favorite), and now I hear Tartakovsky's got a new show. Anyone seen it yet? I think it's called Sym-Bionic Titan. Basically, they're not quite as good as they used to be, but they're getting there.
I've seen it. Its nice. It reminds me of Samurai Jack and Megas XLR combined into some weird love child. And its awesome.

OT: Yeah, they pretty much suck now, but are getting better. If only a little. What with Adventure Time and Sym-Bionic Titan. And releasing the Courage the Cowardly Dog DVD's.

Same with Adult Swim. Most shows suck and are usually just FOX cartoons, which are hit and miss. The only good shows are on way past midnight(except Robot Chicken). Especially Cowboy Bebop. Why the hell would you show that at 2AM?! However the new Venture Bros. and Metalocalypse shows there's still hope left. If only a little. And here's hoping for a new Boondock's season.

I hate the fact that they've never released Ed, Edd n Eddy on a DVD compatible with European DVD players.

I wonder if Xbox 360's are exempt from DVD region protection...I never understood the point of region protection anyway, other than to piss importers off.
