...How does that make him stupid? Sounds more like you should probably trim his claws or something.SoranMBane said:I've seen my cat get his claw stuck in the carpet (or other clothe-based surfaces) and just sit there, tugging away for a good half-a-minute before finally managing to free himself. So, yes, cats are fucking stupid. Most animals are, but that doesn't make them any less adorable.![]()

or try to convince someone to give you food for free..... no prop for a cat.
also, try jumping on someones fence and start meowing for a whole night. cat probably would suffer no consequences. you will. eh... just trust me.....
I don't know why... but this post really made we want to watch Jurassic Park again. I think I may go do that now. Also to your cat. Clever girl.Blablahb said:For animals of their size, cats are pretty clever. Mine figured out how doors work, and can open them both ways.
He's also figured out the sliding door to the outside. I often leave that slightly open, blocking it with a piece of wood so it can't be opened further. Since my cat figured out he could push that door open by smashing into the small opening hard enough, he's been opening that door too. But I could swear I've seen him check from the outside on multiple occasions if the wood was present, after which he never tried to push the door open if it was there blocking the door.
Not to mention he's figured out how to hunt rabbits. He's caught three of them now. Considering rabbits are larger and faster and can take considerable punishment before dying, that's rather odd. If it had been one I'd say it was diseases or weakened and could thus be caught, but it's three now, and since he's caught his first he's been actively stalking rabbits when he sees them.
As a cat owner, I beg to differ.WouldYouKindly said:They don't really have any other use other than entertainment in a modern, mouse free house.
