A shame, I think it'd be pretty funny to sic a load of angry cats on your enemies
You know, if they actually reskinned/"re-voiced" the dog to be

Then the $2 might actually be somewhat justifiable. Though in the end, anyone who'd drop every $2 on a scam like this deserves to be scammed.

I actually thinking more a swarm of angry Housecats, but I suppose that'd work too (though it probably wouldn't be as funny)

great, so when my wolf doesn't do shit I can shout over the Mic "GOD DAMN IT MOON MOON!"

Truly this is what this DLC was made for.
I'd instantly drop 2 bucks for this.

Dying here.

Pointless and stupid, this really should be an unlock and also shows the desperation of Infinite Ward and Activision.

Maybe for 50 cents, but not for $2. New Vegas gave us the Gun Runner's Arsenal for $5, which practically remade the game for firearms specialists. Hell, for $10 they gave us Dead Money, which on its own was more gameplay than everything in CoD:Ghosts put together! Kiss my ass, Activision.

Totally pointless and way overpriced. I so hope this crap is a real failure. I mean its obviously not going to be a loss for them. What did it take a few minutes of one employees time. But hopefully it sells poorly enough they drop the price on this nonsense. I think this reskin is utterly stupid. But in other games I would totally buy them for like $1.

inb4 someone starts raging about EA.

Anyways, this is hilarious. If everything goes perfect, we'll soon have a sale that triples the wolfskin price. :D

Now, a DOGE skin and revoice would be worth two bucks. Much want.

Since their not forcing the DLC on anyone and it changes absolutely nothing in terms of gameplay, does it really matter?
It's another example of the industry's drive towards monetizing everything they can think of. Of course it matters.

Seeing as this is from a company that asked people to pay £2 for gun camos in Blops 2, I'm hardly surprised this is a thing.

Still, this is hardly a big deal, it's not like CoD is the first game to charge small change for cosmetic shit.

So... will everyone still see the wolf skin even if they haven't bought it, or is thsi skin merely for cosmetic and vanity purposes solely for the purpose of the one person?

Because of it's the latter, it's pretty useless and... almost kinda pathetic.

This really doesn't bother me. It's purely cosmetic with no gameplay being effected. If someone wants to spend two bucks for a shitty retexture I sure won't give a damn.

Though I find it kinda stupid it's only on the Xbox. You would have to be one of the biggest idiots on the planet to go out and buy a Xbox just to get a wolf skin for a dog.

You know the funny thing is? This is the exact kind of thing modders can and have done, for free mind you, just because they love the game and want to see what they can do with it. And they're charging two bucks for it. Something they probably crapped out in under a weeks time because they had the resources to do it. This is just blatant greed on the publishers part, was the 60 bucks not enough for you?

Charging for cosmetics in a 60$ title... Remember when people had to unlock these kind of things in games? What happened to that?
pfft...Publishers can't monetize THAT.

Anyway, This doesn't effect me one iota because I don't own the game, don't plan on buying the game, don't plan on buying an XBone and, my 360 is currently in storage. As for the people who do own the game and plan on grabbing it...more power to ya I guess but make sure to ask your older brothers, your uncles and, your fathers about the days in which this kind of thing was included in games and free to unlock so long as you played the game for enough time.

You know, I could repeat what everyone else is saying about this being overpriced crap (which I do agree with), but another thought popped into my head that I want to discuss real quick:

Would anyone here be willing to pay 2 dollars (or regional equivalent) to reskin a companion like this into a character from a different series / franchise that you're a fan of? How would you feel if, say, Riley could be replaced with a Volt-Tackling Pikachu or a Maniac killstreak replaced with Jim Sterling wielding his mini-Dafoe?

And yet despite paltry changes to the game, people kept buying the horse armor...with their own money...willingly...to the point that Bethesda was laughing about it.

It's not like there was a function on the PS3 or 360 that when you opened the page your console threatened to detonate unless you bought it. Companies only do this because people are willing to buy it, and honestly, if people are willing to spend their money on anything as minor as a mini re-skin for one thing in a game they already paid $60 for then by all means, LET THEM.

Better they fork that money over to some game developer than spend it on god only knows...

Do they still have the bacon camo pack like in Blops2?

I wonder what happens if you mix the two.

2 bucks is becoming a standard price for trivial things. Least on AAA games with console markets.

I mean, we can blame Activision, but isn't the problem more that Obsidian is in the minority, not that Activsion specifically is evil?
