Ugh, this is horrible.
While looking into this topic, Mir-Hossein Mousavi seemed the better choice for government before I learned of his past political mass killings. Neither government sounds right at the moment, but for the people, Mir-Hossein Mousavi looks like the better choice sadly.
At least his socialistic ideals would have prevented crap like this from happening. Yet the man who still allows the beating of women by police to continue, manages to get in.
*Sigh*
This event proves how bad Iran needs a stasble government needs a good leader rather then one which could have been rigged by Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.
EDIT
According to Human Rights Watch before this event even happened, "Respect for basic human rights in Iran, especially freedom of expression and assembly, deteriorated in 2006. The government routinely tortures and mistreats detained dissidents, including through prolonged solitary confinement."
So what happened there really doesn't suprise me.
