Well her last name is Toadstool, and she's the only "human" in a land of mushrooms, turtles, squids, fish, and dragons.

I would have to say the Pricness Peach does no exist. She is a hallucination brought on by Mario's failing psyche after he was enlightened on his situation. Trapped in a nightmarish world filled with man eatig plants and mushrooms doomed to save a mushroom race from a dragon. Peach is just a composite of everything he likes in a woman and what he knows of faery tales. Hence why they're never, "together".
Kinda falls apart in the RPGs when Peach interacts with other characters, but in the main games, perfectly believable
Mhm.

Things start seeming a little "Fight Club" about that after a while...

Is there even a real Princess? Or is Mario simply dreaming it up from insanity? Or is she just a clever ruse thought up by the mushrooms to get Mario to do their bidding... Maybe Bowser is actually a noble freedom fighter trying to free the Mushroom Kingdom from the tyranical mushroom rule....

Think about that.

That screenshot means nothing, considering the speaker is a giant mushroom with legs.

1. big daddies are not female. they are called DADDIES in the first place and like someone said "rosie" is just an ironic nickname. also why would you choose women for a job that consists only of beign very tough and strong?
But there's no way to tell especially with splicing.

No! I won't have it!

My Freeman was a badarse mofo with only one reason holding him back from Alyx... there's aliens that need a crowbaren'.
dont you think male body has more potential for growing muscles after all? (even steroid using women are not half as big as steroid using men)
-
so was my gordan freemon :D
"ADAM changed everything,"
Gene tonics and what not can so alter you past the point of steriods. Half the enemies in the game where women that could give you a fair blow to the skull with their pipes and what not.

One mans terrorist is another mans freedom fighter. Go Bowser! Overthrow the mushroom bastards!

I think the guy you play in The Godfather (the game) was bi-curious. Just a little.

Also, Henry Walker (protagonist in Battlestations: Midway) was either very gay or very confused. Not that there was anything wrong with it. Just that he seemed sort of out-of-place on the bridge of a Fleet Carrier.

Before anyone agrees on what Princess Peach is, I pose to all: "Fine, but what would that make Daisy?"

And now, to scamper back into the darkness, laughing to myself.

The Darkness is male I assume. It sounds male and only latches onto men. Plus the whole phallic tenticle thing and 'worm' creatures that detatch themselves.

RE: Kirby/Kirbies.
Kirby is the name of the pink puffball, but not the name of his species. To date, there has never been an official name to Kirby's race but it is most assuredly not "Kirbies/Kirbys". Kirby himself is a guy, and despite the Paris-Hilton-like super suck ability, is so far considered straight. Metaknight is believed to be of the same still-unnamed species as Kirby, and also believed to be much MUCH older (Kirby is believed to be pre-teen or younger).
In the absence of an official name, I shall assume that Kirby is like Yoshi in this sense. I know this is not the case but I'd rather refer to the race as "Kirbies" than come up with some retarded fanname for them, which is the only option other than calling them "star warriors", which I refuse to do, or calling them "creatures of the same species as Kirby", which is just needlessly long-winded.

Besides, the ones in Amazing Mirror, being Kirby himself split up, most definitely deserve to be called "Kirbies".

Of course. There's nothing stopping any female going through the same preocess. That's why I'm wondering about the name Rosie. Bouncer sounds like what he is. A big guy with a drill for an arm would make the best Bouncer's of all. But why Rosie? Unless they were women.
I assumed they were nicknamed 'Rosie' because they carried rivet guns. You know, 'Rosie the Riveter' from the WW2 propaganda posters? I doubt they would use women for that task, in any case. Its a direct combat role, and at that point in history women would have been barred from such.

That is a good point, ReepNeep, but then, Rapture did all sorts of things that were contrary to moral, ethical, and social belief systems in the early 60s. Maybe they would have enlisted a few women for the task just to continue asserting their difference from the rest of civilization? I'm probably wrong, but it's a thought...

Gender roles are very deeply ingrained in the human psyche. Given that Ryan and a great number of the inhabitants were Americans, I would expect them to think about this as Americans circa 1955. Even today, with the military bending over backwards to allow women into it's ranks, they're still barred from direct combat roles like the infantry. Still, I suppose its possible.

Hadn't read the whole thread when I posted that, my bad. Still, I added something no one else had mentioned.

Didn't they claim in the ninetees movie that godzilla was a-sexual?

I'm pretty sure nintendo refers to Kirby as being male.

Links sexuality is hard to determine, but I'm pretty sure he's supposed to be too young to be attracted to anyone. As for the skirt thing, the scottish wore kilts, and the scottish were bad-asses. Just ask Mel Gibson.

Solid snake, was attracted to meryl right? and the camera focuses on sniper wolf's boobs in the scene before he is tortured. mgs2 he is with otacon, 5 years later he's still with otacon and they've adopted a child. and otacon gets it on with naiomi. raiden has rose but has a strange fixation with snake and vamp is well, vamp. add volgin and raikov, from the third to the mix. I'm seeing a lot of bisexual tones to this series.

Given it was directed by Hideo, the focuses on women's breasts may just be some directional input.

Hell, shaking the controller made them jiggle! I love you Kojima, you know what you like (and me, to an extent) and have the balls to just go ahead and toss it in there!

Ultrajoe was going to make a topic like this, but never did. So PurpleRain swoops down to loose yet another massive chunck of his dignity.

First thing's first however:

I do NOT want to see anything or hear anything about Rule 34!
I do NOT want you to talk about King Kong's Wang size.
I do not want this to turn into some sex fest of all your childhood heroes.
I do NOT want to know how well Snake does it in the sack nor any Snake jokes for that matter.
I do NOT want this to go over a PG limit.

Thank you. Any stupid remarks that seep into 4-Chan territory will be reported on site. Just a saftey procaution. And Mods, this is for just a little fun. No harm no foul.

Moving on, this is a thread that disscuss not about whatever character's sex life, but more generally what sexuality they are. A sort of 'shattering of children's dreams' kind of thing.

it spawned off a successful little topic to try and work out the sexuality of Yoshi. It can't be male, though it could be A-Sexual or even Female. Perhaps it's a different species of animal where the males can produce eggs?!

I also once made a topic disscussing the fact if Snake was homosexual. I was flamed, stonned and nailed to the cross. I still hear a lot of 'Snake is gay' jokes all around the place, so evidence still stands.

Is Godzilla male or female? I mean the big lug get's a son at one point but at no time do you see the mother or anything?! Perhaps it's evolved from the same speices as Yoshi, though grown larger due to nuclear radiation.

Also, Big Daddies. How do we know that they're all guys in those suits? Some are called Rosies and carry a gun around. Does that mean if you are female and turned into a Big Daddy, you're only allowed a gun instead of a drill?
Godzilla is A-sexual, which means that it is both Male and Female at different parts of the film. In the earlier parts (up until the protagonist, who I can only recall as being "the worm guy" [just saying that made me remember his name, Nick Tatopolous or something, and yes these are brackets inside brackets, and there's a question about that that I have and will ask later] states that Godzilla is A-sexual), Godzilla is Male. After this, it becomes female, in order to lay the eggs and therefore act as the vehicle for the movie's plot. Also, might I jut say that Godzilla had the most annoyingly, bastardly (yes it's a real word) cliff-hanger ending in any movie I have ever seen.

About that question that I said I had (if you weren't too confused by my brackets-in-brackets thing). What is the difference between (/) and [/] and also this {/}. Aside from the obvious (and quite appealing) aesthetic differences, do they perform a different function? I just use them in this order "()" for brackets, "[]" for brackets in brackets and "{}" for brackets in brackets in brackets (and at one stage I had to draw a combination of the first and last because I needed another set of brackets*).

*Ok, not needed, nobody needs that many brackets, but I wanted to. I'm a little eccentric.

Edit: I realized how confusing that comment is, so I'm adding a TL;DR (Too Long; Didn't Read for those who don't know*)

TL;DR
Godzilla is male in first half, female second half, though I will also add that there are *2* Godzillas, if you go back and watch it again (they blow one out of the water (semi-literally) and then they find the other one and they're like "oh shit".

*Just because I associate TL;DR with /b/ (because that is where I first learned what it meant) I take offense to the remark about 4-Chan style comments. There are some very bright individuals on 4-Chan, ok, and there are a lot of forums where artists and intellectuals gather. You probably mean comments in the style of the forum known as /b/, which is all I can say on the matter due to rules #1 and #2.

Oh yeah, to continue, and because I enjoy taking up the space on this thread, has anyone played Force Unleashed yet? I own it and judging by the way The Apprentice (yes he has other names, no i will not use them, I take satisfaction out of typing/writing "The Apprentice") talks, he has to be the most "anti-Sith" Sith that I have ever seen. Where's the mindless slaughter? Damnit I bought that game (no joke, I bought it on the following premises) based on the assumption that I would be free to put my sword through a mindless filthy pleb's (yes, I love that damn expression[which can also be listed as a noun in the context of my friends, who do the same to me]) skull if I so chose, and that I could run around doing what would be the "force" equivalent of a Falcon Punch*

*Just re-read that, I'd say that deserves to be put in someone's signature on another site but it would sound ego-centric**

**Ego-centric, which I am not, should not be confused with eccentric, which I am.

Personally I don't care about my characters sexuality.
It does however annoy me when you're unaware of your characters gender.
Seeing as that's going to mean alot of people portraying really butch masked people as girly girls.
Such as the Pyro for example, I can't think of any other direct examples but I have seen quite alot of people portraying master chief as a girl with a voice-changer (I don't know what they're called) despite that they have barely no female characteristics what so ever.
Like, c'mon guys. Are you seriously serious?
