Meg from Family Guy earns a lot of dislike from most people, even though I myself like her mostly because she is voiced by Mila Kunis, an actress I like.
I've stopped watching Family Guy though so I'm not sure it counts to say it.

Funny thing is, every character that people originally liked has undergone extreme Flanderization, leaving Meg as the only even remotely likable character. I never really hated her to begin with, since them making her the butt-monkey in the first place was probably because Macfarlane didn't know how to write for teenage girls (I don't blame him).

Anyway judging by all the people complaing about the default character settings in Mass Effect II I'd say the human ambassoder Donnel Udina from Mass Effect I. Honestly who picked him to be on the council and not Captain Anderson who was voiced by Keith David? Anyone?

Oh yeah, you're right about that one. It's been two years since ME1 came out, and I still ***** about what an asshole he was to my friends. I mean, he was well made, they crafted that "career politican" character perfectly, but I just hate him.

Rascal, from that crappy old PS1 game Rascal. The kid was a complete loser, and the game was terrible. You get the idea the creators themselves didn't even like him.

Wow, I completely forgot about that game. It sucked so hard. I never beat it, and that Rascal kid was a dick. I don't know why, he just was.

Most annoying Final Fantasy character ever. Worse than Tidus. I actually liked Squall, and Cloud is okay.

Darth Malak from KOTOR, due to the fact that he looks like a total ***** compared to the extremely badass Darth Revan.

I agree, though I think his voice is pretty cool, and would've been a lot better if the voice actor could actually act.

How about some of the NPC's from KOTOR 2?
Kreia was a snotty pretentious *****, the Handmaiden was dull and not all that attractive (the snow white buzz cut look isn't really what I'm into), Atton was bland when he wasn't being flat-out annoying; the blind woman, what's-her-face, she was about as interesting as a piece of lint, G0-T0 is rather forgettable and the quest that you have to go on to get him is so unbearably annoying...

Master Vrook was a prick, Atris was the Queen of Bitchiness.

Mandalore was pretty cool- I liked Canderous in the first game. T3-M4 has a bit of R2-D2 charm, HK-47's speech is always entertaining (the pacifist package dialogue always cracks me up), and Bao-Dur was awesome- he was a Zabrak like Darth Maul, kicked ass with swords and lightsabers, and could do pretty much all the hacking and stuff, so I took him everywhere.

I also kinda enjoyed Darth Sion, not exactly sure why- maybe it was the voice.

I'm going to say the drunks from Assassin's Creed. They always kept pushing me into people and making me have to escape the authorities. I can't see how anyone would be a fan of them.

General Shepard, people like me liked him, then when he killed Roach AND Ghost, I just fucking lost it.

I don't think I'm completely clear on WHY he did that. The only motive I can come up with is that he was jealous of Captain Price's mustache.

In any case, Shepherd was a twatbush with fleas. When he died, I got a kick out of making a squelchy sound effect as the blood flew.

2. Annoying stories that he will go on about even when he is being stabbed or something-check
