Well lolicons gone wich imo is fantastic....but come on Berserk that shouldnt be classified AND WHAT ABOUT ELFEN LIED...that was an awesome anime. They totally blew someting good out of porportion to make it bad.

For example, the anime of Fate/stay Night doesn't have any of the sex scenes or anything like that, that were in the original games the series was based on. Yet because the games do have such scenes in them (not even anything really bad or explicit, either), they could be reclassified, and by association the relatively safe-for-work anime could potentially be affected and reclassified too, causing more problems further down the line.

Oh so have I don't get me wrong. The average Nitro+ game alone has about 12 times the nightmarish violence than Nasu could come up with (although with less first person descriptions of being devoured). I'm just saying.

That's kind of the point. The bill would enable the Tokyo gov't to label anything they don't like as "harmful to minors." This isn't a fight over smut, it's about censorship.

I'm getting tired of the Government trying to do parents' jobs for them.

Parents need to start taking responsibility, and stop blaming the media, tv, video games, etc. for their failures.

Its probably worth mentioning that there has been international pressure about this sort of thing scince japanese rape games and various flavors of NSFC doujins and anime started to filter out of japan via the internet.

I would suggest you re-read that post and try again. the Anime industry is definitely one of Japan's largest cultural exports.

Do note a small, ignored problem will become a worse one and if found out, it will be at the stage that it doesn't be solved anymore

CULTURAL export. Their cars and electronics look and function like other nations'. This however is distinctly Japanese, it's an image.
