Who knows. I was just thrown by the onslaught of posts by "guest" accounts. They're posting Escapist content tho, and the names match those of Escapist contributors, so don't think they're spambots. Tho they might very well still be bots.
Understandable. It's been close to a year since we last had a wave of Escapist content posts.Who knows. I was just thrown by the onslaught of posts by "guest" accounts.
I had assumed it was all AI content now. I have a memory that makes a sieve seem watertight, but pretty sure a I remember reading somewhere about another website bought by the same company that now owns the escapist and they let everyone go and just used AI content to pull people in and redirect them to gambling sites. They're posting Escapist content tho, and the names match those of Escapist contributors, so don't think they're spambots. How do you know it was just one American? If 33 million Americans were involved, that's just around 10% of the population, and it would say something about the US as a whole.Apparently, Formula 1's Valtteri Bottas had his personal car stolen form his Air BnB during the weekend of the Miami GP. And of course, [European] fans have taken to social media to blame "America" because the actions of one of us is indicative of the whole of us. I love the sport, but I HATE the fans.

I've no idea (obviously) how many people were involved in the theft; I'm just opposing the hyperbole of Europeans fans to who found the story, that it took place in America, and took to social media with comments like "keep it classy, 'Merica" and "this is why they shouldn't race in America." European fans really are nasty towards F1's American fandom, and this incident just gives them something else to point at as a "reason" we shouldn't be allowed in "their" sport. Of course, there are fans from other continents, but it's mostly the Europeans who are outwardly vitriolic towards the American fandom for petty, gatekeep-y reasons. How do you know it was just one American? If 33 million Americans were involved, that's just around 10% of the population, and it would say something about the US as a whole.
(Yes, 33 million people could fit into one car, if they were suitable clownish car thieves, which also says something about the US)
It just goes to show those European fans are no different and hypocritical, like the Americans that act like assess and blame the race or generations of others, because of one fool. The toxic parts of any fandom, shut the hell up and fuck off. What makes y'all so different? That just because you're european, that automatically makes you high cultured? Ya foolin yourselves.Apparently, Formula 1's Valtteri Bottas had his personal car stolen form his Air BnB during the weekend of the Miami GP. What drove this specific complaint? "Clamshell packaging" covers a lot of ground, and I can't imagine a to-go side salad container drew you're ire. I'm assuming the stuff you're talking about is the impenetrable hard plastics they put small, high-value products in to deter in-store thieving, but honest consumers get those products home and slice their fingers down to the white meat trying to open them.Whoever invented clamshell packaging should be locked in a cage with a rabid bear, with the key inside a clamshell package.
That's the one, yes. This complaint came after trying to open a container of cherry tomatoes.I'm assuming the stuff you're talking about is the impenetrable hard plastics they put small, high-value products in to deter in-store thieving, but honest consumers get those products home and slice their fingers down to the white meat trying to open them.
Those most have been some extremely succulent cherry tomatoes for that bother. Did they have an ink tag too? That's the one, yes. This complaint came after trying to open a container of cherry tomatoes.
No, but I do love me my tomatoes. Those most have been some extremely succulent cherry tomatoes for that bother. Did they have an ink tag too?
I absolutely would not discount the value of moral support after going through things like what your friends have experienced.but it's annoying to know there is little I can actually DO other than be there for moral support.
Yes. A pox upon their house and their next ten generations.Whoever invented clamshell packaging should be locked in a cage with a rabid bear, with the key inside a clamshell package.
