Co-op game recommendations

I can't believe I'm the first one to suggest it but:

Resident Evil 5.

The game is built with 2 player coop in mind.

a good co-op campaign is COD:world at war. most of the single player missions are ready for co-op and the gameplay is excellent.

Hey. Since summer is fast approaching and its the only time me and my best friend can really get together and just game to our hearts content, I was wondering if the community had any recommendations for really good co-op games. Preferably FPS's but I'm taking suggestions from all genres. For the Xbox 360 too by the way...

I'm thinking about Lost Planet 2 or a Gears of War currently...

Lost Planet 2 is quite fun in co-op local and online.

Any 2 player game but army of two the 40th day. The first one is ok though. Rainbow Six Vegas 2 is my favourite co-op shooter though.

For the Original X-box if you can find it is Brute Force. Its 4 player co-op 3rd person game that allows you to switch between the characters if you have less people.

Gears of War nad Halo have good co-op modes, and Special Ops in MW2 is often overlooked but very good.

left4dead is a great series for this sort of thing
