ok, the 8 main ones I have decided on are; Fire, water, wind, earth, ice, light, dark and thunder. But if more than 8 good writers want to join then I might add two or four more less mainstream ones, maybe sand, nature, decay and metal.

Even if we don't have over 8 people can we still pick from the less mainstream elements? Being a metal elemental sounds pretty damn awesome and would be a shame to waste.

Sure, feel free, you can be metal, but that doesn't mean techy, but a huge metal snake would be awesome.

Ok, but mind control etc tends to work badly in most RP's if it can be used on people other than NPC's. Pick another power thanks, I strongly dislike mind powers.

It isn't exactly mind control...
my Cthulhu-based guy just sort of "exposes" people to madness... kinda like radiation... the longer they're around him, the more insane they get.

Still, that would involve forcing people to act mad, it's a bit too god-moddy for my liking, and you should make your own monster instead of just remaking cthulu, madness is a bad option, trust me.

Huge metal snake ehh? Sounds like a awesome summon spell. Though I was thinking more of a elemental made out of liquid metal, with the ability to form into different shapes and other types of metal.

Sounds interesting. I probably would choose Thunder/Lightning, and just to screw with all of you who decide to make 30 mile high monsters, I'll make a sleepy human-sized samurai with god speed.

*Thunder wipes blood off his sword, the dragon behind him in pieces smaller than dust. You too, can do this when you become an elemental.

Ok, story and setting is pretty much done, this will be mostly character driven, we have 6 people, so we need two or four more, I will most likely not have a char real char who is competing, so once we find two more people I'll make the thread.

Yes, but remember this is a fight of elemental gods, so don't make it a some tiny sneaky guy, maybe like a huge fanged creature veiled in shadows, darting from one victim to the next.
