Colossi Spotted at Wal-Mart Heading Towards the PS3

I'd LOVE that. My brother owns a PS3, but even though I'm not much of a console player I've heard so many good things about these two games that I'd buy them myself.

I thought some guy dressed as a colossus went in to Wal-Mart to buy a PS3, possibly as a marketing stunt.

This is still cool, though.

This is quite unfortunate because, if it turns out to be true, I'll find myself wanting a PS3. Given how little I play these days, I can neither afford or justify another console purchase. I still have Ico for the PS2, so I guess that's a good sign. Never got Shadow Of The Colossus, though, my experience of that game is limited to watching my brother play it.

I always wanted to get these games (Well Shadow... in particular but I wouldn't say no to Ico) and I never did pick them up for the PS2, this rumour that is slowly gaining more credibility is slowly making me very excited.

Although I will be realistic here and say that a slight graphical update of 5+ year old games is NOT a reason to buy a PS3... I'd be more inclined to say that and then some is.

Huh. Well, cool for the people that want it on HD, but I'm not really concerned with it. I have my PS2 Ico and Shadow of the Colossus, and that's good enough for me. Maybe if I have some cash to throw out on it, but I doubt I'll go out of my way to get it.

It's a smart move, though, with The Last Guardian coming out (someday) on PS3.

If this is true this would be the final push i need to be convinced to buy a PS3. It has enough exclusive titles I want to play and I've always wanted to play Ico and Shadow of the Colossus.

Same. Shadow of the Colossus looks like a lot of fun. Unfortunately, my PlayStation 3 isn't able to play PlayStation 2 games.

Anyway, I'll definitely pick this up.
