Colossi Spotted at Wal-Mart Heading Towards the PS3

I will never understand the Escapist mentality. One moment it's all "Oh, graphics aren't important", then everyone jizzes themselves because Ico and SotC are getting remakes on a current generation console.

I loved SotC; it was beautiful, it was majestic and it was emotional. I just don't think that redoing it or Ico in HD is necessary, especially since they're both only one console generation old.

Colossus should have really been on something with more power, the poor PS2 just didn't have the steam to fully pull it off, but still did good giving us a truly great game.

Rumors of a PS3/360/PC HD redux of Okami?

Hell, just upscale it. It's already pretty enough.

OH GOD NO. DO NOT WANT!

One of the things that was so refreshing about Okami was that it had a distinct art style. An HD facelift would inevitably change this to accommodate the PS3's improved hardware.

As to ICO and Shadow of the Colossus, on the other hand, I'm much intrigued.

Can someone clarify how the title is misleading? I saw it and knew right away it would be concerning Shadow of the Colossus.

I expected that there were two people in a quadruped colossi costume wandering around the PS3 section of Wal-Mart.

Of course, demanding that SotC be released on it.

This is the best news I've heard in gaming in a long time. As anyone who's seen a few of my posts will know, I loved SotC (I lost track of how many times I've replayed it). Seriously Walmart, this may be the best news I've heard for months now. If you are screwing with us though, I will find a way to kill you with your own demon smiley face (who has dropped off the face of the earth somehow. How do you lose your mascot?)

If you can find them, I rarely if ever see Shadow of the Collosus on brick n' mortar stores, never found ICO, and the extra trophies+HD upgrade+the fact that it's FUCKING TEAM ICO and I would buy 10 of their games just to support them, sweetens the deal.
