Really though, I'm just amazed that I was even considered for this to begin with. I mean...people always tell me I'm popular and stuff, and I don't really listen to it. I just go about my day, trying to be all I can be, helping others and making it myself. To qualify for something like this, it means people actively submitted that I should be featured without me telling them, based on how they see me and the things I do when I post on the forums or even in private messaging or anywhere...it means so much to me, that people actually notice what I do enough for me to be featured here. I honestly didn't expect to ever be on the Community Spotlight, and because I am for just being who I am, without telling anyone to vote for me or whatever, it shows that I really do connect with people here, and at the very least make them happy. It made me cry when I got the PM, because...it was just so shocking. I'm very, very happy to be acknowledged as someone who helps, cares and is all around nice. That's all I want to be in life....your sunshine!

I will quote all of you tomorrow most likely. I want to say thanks to everyone's kind words in here. Really you guys know how to get the waterworks going, sheesh! I'm filled with such joy that people noticed me enough to nominate me. It makes me feel so welcomed here, appreciated and like I truly belong. I feel like I am the sunshine of the Escapist now, and it's a really, really great feeling. Thank you guys, all of you. This place would not be the same without you. I sincerely mean it. I thought Aylaine was already the "Official Sunshine of the Escapist". I mean, it's pretty obvious. You know how in the beginning they said, "Let there be light"? That was Aylaine walking into the room. She's that beacon of hope that shows there are still nice people on the internet. Aylaine, you deserve this moment 100 percent.
