Hate to tell you this. They are remaking Evil Dead. Well to be fair info is sketchy. Some site ssay they are remaking it (imdb claims its been announced also last I heard Ash was to be played by fucking Stiffler...) some say they are just making Evil Dead IV and yet others claim the 2009 film with just be the movie adaptation of the musical. So thats a film made into a musical made into a film... and I am looking foward to it. >.<

I heard it was just a movie where Bruce Campbell plays himself, going through an evil dead scenario and everyone looking up to him for Evil Dead movies he starred in.

Personally I really couldn't care, 80s horror just strikes me as dull. Give me the pant-wetting mindfuckery of J-Horror.

They havent remade the living dead series? Apart from the first one which was remade by Tom surveni in the early Nineties and of course Dawn set in the mall which was remade two or three years ago. So yeah no remakes there then.

Chucky being remade does fill me with a raging apathy that cannot be quenched.
