Oh, come the fuck on. You know what you were doing; there's no other, honest reason to describe criticisms of an organisation and its policies as simply "criticising Palestinians" as if that statement doesn't imply something very different. Unless you believe that by benefit of belonging to that group alone, criticism is rendered moot.
You wouldn't describe criticising Israeli government policy as "criticising Jews". That may be technically, grammatically true. But its plainly obvious that using that description to refer to criticism of policy is a cynical tactic, attempting to transpose sympathy for a demographic group onto a specific organisation and any policies it pursues.
