i dont tend to post much because noone discusses on this forum... i generally get the feeling that noone even bothers to even read the other posts most of the time...

Well, I read the other posts. I find it strange that these members don't "stick out" to you.
They are all kind of like "Escapist Celebrities"

yeah... i did figure the whole celebrity thing, im asking why
really... they dont stand out... the only praise im seen for HUBILUB is that he makes jokes.
well excuse me... but err... EVERYONE MAKES JOKES!

oh, and that hes tall... apparently...
i doubt that makes you into an instant celebrity...

so why? theyve done nothing...
why is 'why?' so hard to answer?

I'm not sure why they are more famous than others. Its like a random drawing sort of. It just happens.

I don't have any idea who Woem is, I only remember Nivag's old viking avatar, and I do recognize Zombie_Fish's avatar, but I do not know why they're considered "famous".

As I've speculated, I think it is my avatar that has caused some fame.

Nope, got it yesterday.

I celebrated my 6 months on the Escapist 2 days ago, so it would be weird if I would have had it a long time ago.

I don't have any idea who Woem is, I only remember Nivag's old viking avatar, and I do recognize Zombie_Fish's avatar, but I do not know why they're considered "famous".

I think it's our admin status in the badge hunters usergroup. Or at least that's the only claim to fame I know of that me and Woem have done, though I wouldn't consider myself or Woem famous on this site because of it, along with the other admins for the hunters.

And I'm glad to see people sometimes recognise my avatar.

This is also quite funny. I remember when The Austin first joined this site and in a different thread listed users considered to be 'famous' round here. Only person that is on both that list and this list is Neonbob, and even when I admitted to being unknown on this site he agreed that I was. I still don't consider myself a famous user by any means, even in comparison with users that used to be famous but have now kind of become more unknown over time. EDIT: Huh, I just found the thread again and The Austin actually said he kind of heard of me from somewhere, somehow, somewhen... and stuff...

Actually, it looks like the mods have sunk this thread, so no posts will bump it back up to page one. They do it when a thread is borderline breaking the rules, but isn't quite worthy of a lock yet. So I can make this post a day after the last post in this thread and it will have no effect on page one whatsoever.
