Personally I'd recommend waiting for Star Wars: The Old Republic, but I realize not everyone is willing to wait until April 2011.
did they decide on micro payments or subscription?????????????????????????

I have no idea. But it doesn't matter too much to me, I'm getting it either way. If you want to know more, swtor.com is the website.

I played it for about 2 months but only stopped cause my friends did.
If you have mates playing it aswell ( or your incredibly good at meeting people you like online) then you'll have a blast.

EDIT: its 15USD a month i think.

It's a Korean grindfest, if you like spending 20 hours killing the same monster for one level, go for it.

When my friends got me to play it, after a few weeks they all ended up botting and I just quit.....eventually they also got tired and did the same.

I started playing with four of my best friends. That's the only thing that made the game bearable. Fun was still rarely had.

I played from the beta and was originally sucked in, but now I haven't touched it in over a month and will probably discontinue my subscription shortly (I subscribed on a 3-month basis, so I'm in no hurry). Frankly, the game is boring. The quests are pretty much all the same, combat is repetative and there is virtually NO scope to customise the growth of your character, removing a VERY large part of the appeal of any MMO for me. Oh, and PvP balance sucks, as does the crafting system. I got my first character up to level 29 before realizing that I had absolutely no incentive to play the damned game and left him there.

There's a lot of additional content planned for the game in the indeterminate future which looks like it might be kind of interesting (the Visions of Aion trailer was mind-blowing when I first say it) but for me it can't overcome the basic flaws in the game, especially considering that this stuff could be YEARS away.
