I don't get console fanboyisim; consoles are just a platform for games. Whether we enjoy the individual games is what really matters.

My "opinion" is they are all good in thier own ways.

You want a serious gaming machine, X-Box.
You want a family or party machine, Wii.
You want an entertainment system, PS3.

Being a more casual gamer and a serious movie buff, PS3 was the only choice for me. My best friend on the other hand is a hardcore gamer, so he owns the 360 and Wii, and though he says he loves them both equally, he plays the 360 about a thousand times more than his Wii.

If I had to choose, I'd say Wii just because I don't want a work-out, I just want to relax. Plus it's got the worst selection of games, especially since I don't have children to play it with.

360, any console designed to fail from the get go is a bad idea.

I however hate the original atari the most, pretty much because it's games required moon logic to play.

All consoles have things that make them horrible
360=RROD (on my 4th 360 and 6 months repair between all)
Wii=horrible selection of games
PS3=i haven't owned 1, but i will find a problem once i do

Designed to fail?

They placed heat sensitive parts right next to the hottest part of the console, as well as being well aware of PROD before release.

The 360 was intended by Microsoft to eventually shit itself.

lol dont mean to add to the confusion but i hate the wii. I mean, it is nice looking and innovative and the ideas are all great, but they aimed it at the wrong section of the market-one that isn't natural gaming material anyway. Nintendo really did shit itself in the pants there didn't it?
I love the console, but i hate the selection of games, the marketing and the reputation it has as a gaming device due to Nintendo's bad decision on the audience. Aaahhhhh...it could have been great, but 'twas not to be.....shame
