Its good to know I have something in common with the guys at Infinity Ward.
For my job I have long since resigned myself to being impartial about which console is best and all that jazz (Do you want it to play Blu Ray? What are your feelings on Halo and Gears of War? Right, from those answers, I think Wii is your best choice...). I personally don't need it quantifying and hate people who give one word reasons for why they don't like a console (or anything for that matter) along the lines of 'because its shit'.
However, as impartiality doesn't actively help to sell consoles, I've now adopted the better salesman line of 'All consoles are brilliant!'. It helps get them in a positive mood for when I inform them of the amount of PS3s we've had returned because of faulty disc drives and that they might like to take out extended warranty as we have no idea if the slim will blow up. At least with the 360 I can be brutally honest about how the failure rate has 'improved' over the years but it might still be a good idea.
