Conspiracy Theories.

Yesterday was 9/11, and this made me think about doing this thread. Can you come up with, or do you know about a strange, stupid, or just overall ridiculous conspiracy theory?

Mine: Some people think aliens came when we were just cave men, and us thinking the technology was divine, we made them out Gods. They say that the aliens built the Pyramids, the Easter Island Heads, and the Pyramid of the Sun in Mexico. Also, the Nazca lines. They also say that the aliens gave the Mayans spaceships to go into space with. That's why they disappeared.

My favorite conspiracy has to be that one about "Nibiru" or "Planet X". Apparently some people think there is a planet heading towards Earth that will hit Earth within the next two years.

Well some people think Paul Mc Cartney of The Beatles died in the 60's and fearing this would end The Beatles career they hired a replacement who looked like him (Fortuatley he was also a magnificant bass player, song writer and singer). Apparently The Beatles hid secret messages in their songs to tell the public this. (Look how Paul is out of step o the Abbey Road album cover OMG that totally means hes dead)

I've heard a lot of conspiracy theories but personally I find this the stupidest.

I actually just heard in detail from a drunk customer about the conspiracy that only 8-12 people rule the entire world and that everything that happens in the world's economy is due to their manipulation and control.

I thought that was kind of interesting and creepy if true.

The government paid two specially trained men to hijack a plane. They told them to dress up like middle easterners and crash this plane, thus giving them the ability to go to war with the middle east.

How much you wanna bet someone believes this?

I don't get what makes "crazy conspiracy theories" any dumber than the truth. Everyone in the world believes anything they're told and when someone comes up with a different idea they get called a conspiracy theorist. Yet real life is just as if not more cartoony.
