HIV was created in a laboratory to take out the the blacks and the gays. It was first introduced to a gay french airline attendant who spread it to San Fransisco. What the officials that had it developed and deployed failed to understand was the general promiscuous sex that took place in the general white straight christian population. The HIV virus behaves like no other natural virus in the world but behaves almost identical to several lab grown viruses that are used in biological research.

Of all the conspiracy theories that have a snowballs chance in hell of making a hail mary into the endzone against all logic, yes, it is probably the most likely. Still bollocks though.

Some say the Swime Flu was a conspiracy, like some terrorists made it and relesed it in Mexico.

The only reason why this is even partly beleivable is that Obama was (elegedly) in the same town where the flu broke out at the same time, and that one of his advisors got it.

Personally I'm kinda believin' the whole 2012 thing. Not because it has any real scientific fact backing it up, but because I love placing ultimate belief in conspiracies, and it sounds particularly exciting.

i think a lot of these conspiracy stories come from a desire for the world to be more fantastic than it is, like alot of far-out mysticism stuff.

well the thing is, why would the govenment be protecting it so strongly, if you go over the border of it, you ARE going to be shot in the face by a sniper.

And the reason why americans attach so many theorys to it is because it is the only interesting thing we have here.

I don't beleive many of them, but some of the alien theorys i beleive.

I like the conspiracy theory that states creating a thread regarding conspiracy theories however ridiculous only empowers a conspiracy theorist resolve to convert more people to there cult.

Not what I made the thread for my good sir although you are correct, they are all pretty ridiculous.

John Keel (author of the Mothman Prophecies) laid out a "unified field theory of the supernatural" in his book The Eighth Tower, that is simultaneously fascinating in its complexity and absolutely rediculous. He postulates that the Kabba in Mecca is a hyperadvanced super-computer left behind by a race of sentient beings who lived on earth before Humans. This super-computer has always manipulated the Earth's electromagnetic waves in order to manifest supernatural phenomena, which it uses to manipulate/guide humanity to improve their computer technology because the Kabba computer realizes that it is beginning to die and wants to replace itself.

The silly things people can believe never cease to amaze.

I saw a video on Youtube once that claimed, among other things, that the Halo 3 logo was a secret illuminati symbol, an alien Hyper-railway links every part of the earth, and that there are lizard-people-run concentration camp under subway stations.

Incidentally, some days later I looked for the video again, and found that it had disappeared along with the guy's account... 0.o
