You plug it in. It works. That's my experience with it. It's a Microsoft product, after all, so they've made it compatible. I believe the same is with all Xbox controllers, including Xbox One.Rosiv said:I don't have to fuss with drivers, do I?DoPo said:I've got an Xbox 360 controller and that works completely fine for all games that support controllers.
Worse case scenario, you'll have to use Windows update with no restart but that said I haven't gotten any new drivers for it for a long while now.Rosiv said:I don't have to fuss with drivers, do I?DoPo said:I've got an Xbox 360 controller and that works completely fine for all games that support controllers.
a word of caution, if you have a wireless 360 controller, you'll need to buy a wireless gaming receiver for it to work, they aren't that pricey though, they cost between 10-$20 USD. The play and charge kit won't turn your wireless controller into a wired one as far as your PC is concerned.Rosiv said:I dont like the keyboard layout for the witcher 2, and really dont care to learn a new mapping of the keyboard. Does anyone have controller recommendations for the PC? Preferably something to work with the witcher 2. Wireless /wired is fine.
