Hey, that my dialect of Arabic!Romidude said:Russian, and Lebanese Arabic (As it is actually a dialect which changes from country to country.) But it does kinda suck when you are in the Middle East at a family reunion and you hear your name and every one laughs, or looks at you.
Actually, all you really need is an accent. My mother, who has an English accent, can't pronounce anything to save her life despite having done full Welsh language courses, while my dad, who has a Welsh accent, can pronounce most words perfectly despite never having learnt it.Trivun said:And maybe Welsh, although as I understand it you need to have both a lisp and a permanent mouthful of phlegm to be able to pronounce anything in Welsh...

Not the Irish accent, I mean the real Irish language.
My grandfather taught it to me and I always have found it the most enchanting, beautiful language in the whole world.
Haha, this is awesome. In addition I'd like to add Swedish to the growing list of cool-sounding languages since I am, of course, Swedish.T0RD said:Pfft, nothing compared to Norwegian! It also helps that "Conas atá tú?" is "How are you?" and not "Where are you from?"Irish Rover Baird said:Wow, your dialect is weird.No_Remainders said:Is there any other type?Loop Stricken said:Angry German.

I learned this as:
Cén chaoi a bhuil tú?
What area are you from?
Edit: just looked it up, apparently, your Irish is standardised Irish
My grandfather was from a little town near Conaught, and apparently, that Irish is slightly different.

Dublin. You?
lets not say something negative if someone else says something positive? i understand what you are trying to say though, but i 100% disagree. though in this case it doesnt really matter since it has 0 discussion value to like or dislike the sounds of a language ^^Dango said:It just risks causing an an unfortunate situation for everyone involved. The person saying they hate the thing will likely be flamed (not on these forums though, as the people here are a bit too sophisticated for that), people arguing will end up being irritated, and everyone just ends up being angry at each other. And if you are going to do it, at least try to make people understand your point of view by explaining yourself.hem dazon 90 said:Why?Dango said:Well I know your entitled to your opinion and all, but you should really avoid stating that you hate something while everyone else around you is saying that they love it.hem dazon 90 said:That video sums up all the things that I hate about JapanDango said:Japanese is by far both the coolest and the cutest.
