I want this lunch box just to freak out everyone in the cafeteria at school.

It is rather ugly, missing some of the points that draw appeal to steampunk. Although if that pressure gauge is actually measuring the air pressure inside the box, then there is some redemption in store.

I like it. What I wouldn't do to have a steampunk themed house...
And like the guy above said - Those Fallout 3 lunch boxes are great.

That looks absolutely hideous. So much is intended for aesthetics but the result just looks far to "busy".
Yep, total agreement. Steampunk is about elegance, not "how many gears can I stick on this thing." Looks like the paint job was done with an eraser. And are those rivets or a Bedazzler run amok?
Who made you the expert on Steampunk eh?

Personally I love it. Looks like something a Steampunk Engineer with his eyebrows burned off would own.

I have now realized that my life has been a hollow shell of an existence without that lunch box.

It looks a little too "handmade" for my tastes... the best steampunk (IMNSHO) is stuff that looks like it was actually mass-produced or professionally crafted in the alternate world it's from.
