Red Dead Redemption is a very euphonious title. Red Dead rhymes, and then Redemption is an alliteration on both of the preceding words. Hell, even just RDR sounds good to say.

It was at one time called Value Jet.
What happened was, a Value Jet plane crashed, killed like a hundred people, and Value Jet got a bad rep for it. So, they rebranded everything, shook the name Value Jet, and now Airtran is actually doing pretty good now.
