That last dude ain't no crazy warrior, well... he is, but he's a specific one, he's a Warhammer Fantasy Dwarf.

He's the famous Trollslayer Gotrek Gurnisson.

Well, it's a slayer. Not necessarily Gotrek.

Taking into account the shape of the axe and the fact that it's chained to his wrist as well as the placement and shape of the tattoos, I'd say the person was indeed attempting to be Gotrek. The only flaw I can see is that Gotrek only has one eye.

In other news, the Dwarf Slayer and the gun-and-sword guy were excellent. Likewise, I have a certain amount of respect for a guy who carries around a duct tape hammer the size of a signpost.

Damn. These are awesome. It makes my Halloween costume look woefully inferior. This year it will be better.

I really want to go to one of these conventions. Are there any cool ones in the UK?

EDIT: Actually that Obi-Wan picture is really useful. I've been looking to buy that belt for my costume and that picture gives a great indication of its size and how it looks outside controlled studio lighting. Cool picture too.

I was the girl dressed as Black Canary, and FYI I wasn't falling asleep, I was midway through blinking. I actually said to the photographer "Wait, I think I blinked!" after this photo was taken.

So what's the deal with all the people dressing as steampunk in the cosplay scene these days? Is it some new fad going around? I see that everywhere all of a sudden.

Chef was funny, never seen that before.
