Hello, it's Req again, sorry for the non-descriptive post but i didn't really know how to say it in my own words.
The thing is this, if someone opens a topic saying 'Jesus is Lord.' or anything relating to Christianity, people go ape shit about it, or even worse i've noticed, someone would say something relating to God in their posts and everything gets the flamethrowers ready.
Now i understand that people who don't want to hear about God obviously don't want to see it around the forums, that i understand, but then it seems to me a little imbalanced, if someone defends their faith in God everyone gangs up on them.
But on the contrary, anyone who opens up a thread saying why their belief in Aetheism is correct, or something against Christianty, no one really cares.
I'm not too clued up about this, but i remember a thread around here recently, it was about in some town somewhere (memory is fuzzy) someone printed on buses, 'There's probably no God, so go and enjoy your life.' and believed that whoever did that went a tad too far, the author of the thread, even said they were not a christian, but still everyone went off on how, 'No the Christians printed a website that liked to an article saying how they are going to hell.'
Now stop there. right there. 'Printed a website that linked to an article saying how they are going to hell.'
Doesn't that seem a little unfair to you? someone put a website on a bus to avoid imposing on others beliefs and upsetting people, nothing forced people to go to the website. But someone went to the website (by their own choice) and got upset about it an suddenly it made it alright to print anti-christian statements across buses and the rest?
Please enlighten me as to whats going on, why people get upset when someone mentions God, but it's okay to state anti-theism statements, or any views and the rest, but please.
Don't get into arguments about this. Say your say and leave it be, question each others views if you want, but i don't want this to become a fighting thread because of imposing views.
If someones views are not the same as yours. Deal with it.
