Canada and Mexico either lack the ability or will to invade the United States and other countries would have to cross a large expanse of water with a sizeable invasion force which would be easily spotted via satellite long before it hit the beaches. Unless someone gets creative like in Wolrd in Conflict, the USA is pretty much immune to invasion given the current technology available to the world's militaries.

A well trained military here and everywhere else in the world. Yes if you invade us we probably could attack you too on your turf. Then again people are boring and will just negotiate it out.

I'm not an overly-patriotic pro-America extremist or anything, but in all seriousness I can say that there is no country in existence currently capable of defeating the US armed forces in conventional warfare.

Maybe if every country in the world teamed up against them (well all the world's military powers atleast) they might be able to overwhelm the US, but since that is highly unlikely I would not suggest to anyone a conventional war against the US.

Any country can be invaded, now holding onto the terratory you gain in that initial invasion is an entirely different thing.


The US from any other country's perspective would be a hell to keep. With the exception of few other areas in the world the US would be so inundated with "insurgants" that any country/countries that did invade would quickly find that the invasion was the "easy" part and that occupying is far more difficult(much like the US is finding out now)

I can name 12 people who are friends who I am close with. out of those 12 nine of them have at least 3 guns each and the other 3 have at least one.

Not to mention the fact that there is historical precedent that we here in the US go batshit psycho insane whenever our authority or safety is challenged.


So yes, the US can be invaded.


Whether or not the invaders would deem it worth it after the initial invasion is another thing entirely.

Its completely possible, and depending on how far you're willing to go, it could actually be easier then imagined.

The only reprive America would probably get is that the Mid-West wouldn't sufer the use of NBCs, as many countries wouldn't want to risk destroying the valuable agriculture oppertunities there.



Funny thing though. KAOS Studioes, the people who made Frontlines: Fuel of War, are making another game, called "HomeFront". It is set in 2007 America, where North Korea has invaded the mainland US, and using nuclear weapons, managed to take tenative control of the country, where most, if not all organized US Military Forces have been destroyed or scattered, leaving only pockets of resistance, one of which you play as.

Actually I think the Chinese could do it themselves considering they would have like 3 million soldiers and they do have conscription. Yet again there should be a 'NO nukes' policy.
