I must say that I am already looking forward to that game, I have never really liked GTA and SR for the "gangsta" idea (yo dawg, let's get som hos, and be generall dipshits, aaaaight!) but in crackdown, you get to shoot said dipshits, and you had the awesome jumping monstertruck, so yes, I can't wait for this game.

Like I said, this is what I heard.
I'd just like to be able to play a fun game for once.

I just don't see the appeal of PC gaming.

I've been watching the Live Conference and I must say the trailer was ridiculously awesome. From what I could gather, the city is infected with some sort of virus and the Agency have been tasked with hunting down and killing the infected civilians. They're not infected in the sense of Left 4 Dead, but they actually just look and behave like normal people, or at least the civilian in the trailer did. So it showed the city destroyed, and three or four Agents looking at an infected through their scopes. One of the Agents jumped from the tower, ran across some rooftops, ripped a generator off the roof and tossed it down to block the infected. Then the Agent jumped down and killed the infected. However, afterwards a roar and a light shined up from a manhole cover then it cut to a wall where a shadow of a huge monster was cast and you could hear gunfire.

But the video is way better than my description. It looked so awesome.

yes. about time. First game that i ever played on the 360.
The one that got me hooked to it in fact.

I'm hoping it follows up from the first one, you know the ending i'm on about.

Well, for one, I don't have any consoles except a Wii.

So PC gaming wins there.
It's more comfortable for me to be in my computer room than in the dining room, as well. Less glare, more comfortable chairs...

And I don't like console controllers.
Xbox, Xbox 360, PS1-3, N64..
Never liked them.

Yea, I see what you're saying there. The N64 controllers bothered the hell outta me, but now my hands feel naked unless they are holding a 360 controller. It just feels like it belongs there.

And I guess one big advantages of PC gaming is the mods. Oblivion was a good game even for the 360, but everyone I talk to says that it's better with mods, and the console gamers are missing out. After reading the Oblivion modding guide for 2009 on the escapist, I wish that I had gotten that one for PC. I'm sure that doesn't just apply to Oblivion.
