And it said what exactly?
So long and thanks for all the... plankton? What do Beluga whales eat anyway?

OT

Okay... that sounds creepy as hell. I'm going to be having nightmares about that sound tonight.

So, we can go one of two directions with this: First option, kill it and pray the others don't start mimicking it. Or two, we take it, we study it and it's kind, see if it is actually talking and not mimicking, and then try to train others in the art of English.

I'm sort of intrigued by the latter option, but the former is probably what's gonna happen.

You just know that one creepy marine biologist is squirming because an animal might report a sexual harrasment.
I am not squirming ,your argument is invalid.

I'm sure non of these scientist wanted to hear a remote resemblance to human speech. I'll be impressed once he gets a job.

Would be so interesting to know how intelligent these creatures really are. Is this the first step towards the language barrier finally being broken?

Still a better singer than Justin Bieber or Rebecca Black if I do say so myself. So this is good sign that better times are ahead.
My eyes rolled so hard, they flew out of my skull, circled the globe, and popped back in.

OT:..Uh, cool. I guess. I'm not sure how they know for sure that it's an imitation of human speech, but if it is, I guess that's pretty cool.

Kind of sounded like my friend called me at 3:00 AM, drunk of course, and just said some incoherent garbage into his phone. Hell, if you listen closely at the end, you can hear my frustrated sigh. xD

So... belugas are gonna drunk dial me at 3:00 AM now. Fuck.
