1,2....1,2,3,4..
I don't get it.

And with that said, I thought of something.

Is anyone actually stupid? A person i consider stupid may be smart in your opinion.

got another one, slightly matrix flavoured.....

What is defined as real? Can you prove conclusively that this is real, and NOT some figment of my imagination? Is someone else's viewpoint as valid as mine? is that person real? Is this all a dream/ nightmare of the indidvidual's own making? that's one for the midnight number 2 visits.

Also, If heaven is above and hell is below, what does that make current plane of existence? Not religious, but i believe it would be Purgatory.... Think about it
No this is the real world. Just go back to being a battery for robots who have been robbed of their sunlight and now have to use humans as batteries.

when if ever will people realize that money is COMPLETELY USELESS OUTSIDE A MAINTAINED ECONOMY, and thus stop putting proffit ahead of ecological safety and the good of mankind... after all... how far will currency get you when the air itself is an unbreathable toxic vapour?
Money is useful inside a maintained economy, which is what would happen is we did prevent the inevitable global warming. We would go into another Depression, everyone has very little money and it would be a terrible time to live in. So, the real question is, "Which is the lesser of two evils, Death/Non-existence for our Proceeders, or a dystopian future for them?"

Anyway, Has anyone else noticed the similarities between gaming and religion? It's all very disturbing.

Will there ever be true equality in the world?

What is the meaning of life?

Do my tastes in music, food, girls, etc make me any less "black" than a "typical black guy"?

Will someone kill Mugabe?

Am I a bad person because I don't seek to resolve tension with my brothers?

How can people say "It would be in your best interest"? My best interest? How can YOU say what MY best interest is?

If I won the lottery would I really be able to stay the same and not be consumed by materialism?

Why do people kill each other? And even moreso over stupid little things like looking at someone in the "wrong" way. How the fuck do you do that? What's the "right" way to look at someone so that you don't get stabbed to death?

Why do some people hate me when I've done nothing to garner hate from said people?

If Gears 1 was "rushed" as Epic put it and still turned out an awesome game then does that mean Gears 2 will be the second coming of Jesus on a disc?
I couldn't resist trying to answer some of these, so here goes.
Only when everyone is equally miserable and has nothing left to gamble, trade for intoxicants, or invest.

40.

No, but then a typical anything is seldom interesting.

Hopefully.

No. Family is important but so is being true to yourself. A free man owes no one compliance over his lawful acts.

"It would be in your best interest" means "It would be in my best interest; do what I want you to do and I'll be happy."

Why would you want to? Materialism is fun if you have lots of money, it only sucks when you're broke.

In the town near which I was raised, a man murdered his brother or brother-in-law (I really forget which or exactly how, think he stabbed him) because they were drunk and arguing over the shortest Bible verse. ("Jesus wept" won due to the opposition finding itself dead.) 40% to 90% of everything is crap, including people.

See the above.

No, on two disks.

How can the creation of man be written by man

How can people be so much better than others at games when all you have to do is move 4 fingers and two thumbs around

There are two possibilities. One is that I am entirely unique - not a person in the world is like me, no one can think my thoughts. I am a unique contributor to the world, but at the same time, no one can really understand me. Empathy is possible, but true sympathy is not. For all my communication, all I'm doing is referencing things other people have felt and thought. We're all different - and because of that, we're all utterly alone.

The other is that I'm really not that special. Somewhere out there is my doppelganger - my many doppelgangers, likely. All my ideas have been thought before, some executed, some rejected. We may as well all be one - we're all so similar that everything that is not exactly alike is purely cosmetic. All that's required to make another me is someone with a superficially similar facial geography and a new wardrobe. I have absolutely no hope of being special.

Or worse - everyone IS the same, except for me. I am perpetually and irreparably locked from most shared human contact. I am unique, and because of that, I am a monster. I was never meant for this world.

Guess what my recurring psychiatric ailment is? If you said "severe depression", you win a prize! (the prize is whining)

Is there actually any way to give yourself super powers? And I'm not just talking about the idiotic 'accidental' excuses like rolling around in toxic waste or being caught in a nuclear bomb test.
yes...
Siphilus can make you feel as if you are verging upon the all knowing...who knows, you just may be...but then you die.

also a mutation in the myostatin gene can cause people/cows/mice/dogs to become extremely muscle bound and much much stronger

there are lots more

Is it possible that we all have latent superpowers but just don't know how to unleash them? if so how can we unleash them?

Why are people afraid of robot overlords when they are limited by OUR intellegence?(unless some one creates GLaDoS somehow)

If the cake is a lie, what else is?

If duke nukem forever is released, would the world have already ended?

CAN we create artificial life?

I often think about the idea of a giant comet striking the earth, big enough to end all life on the planet.
And that I really wouldn't mind if it did, i'd sit with my friends on a mountain, watching the impact and the horizons burn.

Maybe it's because i'm so curious how people will react if a certain, unescapable doom is upon them, that no-one could avoid.
I would enjoy every second of it.

If you toss a coin and it comes up heads 50 times, why is the chance of it coming up tails next time only 50%?

I mean...if it's a fair coin then karma has to react in some way...

An astronaut went into one of those revolving pods in order to get himself used to the G-Force. However, it malfunctioned and the Gs went up so high (to a point where the boiling point of water becomes lower than body temperature, it was that high), that he said he 'had the sensation of his saliva evaporating off his tongue'.

How the hell did he know what that felt like before hand?
How the hell is that possible? What the astronaut experiences is acceleration- or directional force (1 G being what we feel standing on the ground on earth), and unless he is going incredibly fast, he will not experience any significant increase of temperature.

The other day I realized something, even if time-travel was possible you couldn't change the past and affect the present because the here and now would technically be the result of all time-traveling.

Also when a dog eats cat poop(They all do), and poops it out Is it still cat poop or is it dog poop?

Boyle's Law I think. The Air is also subject to pressure, as well as his blood vessels.

How do you know it isn't?
