To iron mal, yes it is possible to die by asphixiation during racourious laughter(see yahtzee's fans) quite rare though.

If I went back in time, can I fuck up the future(or present) or will god some how right it?

If a helium balloon was let go, will it reach space?

Is it possible to see a beam of light move?
Quick answers. If you could, you could. No...atmospherics and gravity. Yes, but only from the side.

I got another one, is there any actual, tangable reality?
tangible enough to say so, so at least subjectively yes.

our atoms are held together by nothing, and our senses are just signals hitting our brain from waves and impulses. also, if antimatter is the anti-thesis to matter, what would dark matter be the anti-thesis to?
Isn't the running theory that dark matter is more akin to super compressed matter? If so then dark-antimatter

what happens if matter and anti matter colided?
I don't think it really collides, we have it flying through our space constantly.

what was before the big bang? or was there a big bang and it was just a previous universe the crushed in then rapidly expanded? And if this is true, how long was it crushed in? and what was the previous universe like? was it exactly like ours? or was it entirely different?
Due to the conservation of energy and such, we could say that if that were the case it'd be made of the same stuff our universe is, if that's any help.

here's mine: words appear to be a core concept cubed, its more noticeable in the romantic languages but you can still get the basic concept in english, by taking the variations of target, source, and case, [you/I/...] [past/present/etc]. Taking this concept and applying a mathematical value to the concepts could you develop a consistent map of language and then could you apply that map to other languages to establish a mathematically sound modern rosetta stone?

when if ever will people realize that money is COMPLETELY USELESS OUTSIDE A MAINTAINED ECONOMY, and thus stop putting proffit ahead of ecological safety and the good of mankind... after all... how far will currency get you when the air itself is an unbreathable toxic vapour?

probably around the same time the people rise up and disband the unconstitutional "federal" reserve, the banks, losing the safety of the fed, stop creating money without true representation, and then finally the US gov't observes the the sovereign state of the Empire of California.

So in other words about 10 minutes after the air becomes toxic vapour and we reflect on our fleeting lives with the last few seconds of lucidity.

If Chuck Norris died, would people stop coming up with jokes about him, or would they say he killed himself so that he could combat Satan in Hell? Actually, that's prett good. I'm copyrighting it, go away.

Is homosexuality a cure for over-population? This is something that I discussed with some of my friends. I thought it was a pretty interesting idea, and I wrote an article with that being one of the major points on triond.com, and surprisingly not many people found it insensitive, probably because I made the comparison, "...it's just as insensitive to say heterosexuality is a cure for under-population."

Will schools in my state adopt the bee as their mascot once the killer bee migrates up here? (They're supposed to)

If I taped two magnets together with their like sides touching, would that affect each side's... charges, or whatever? Would one of the magnet's charges eventually switch?

I work in retail, and one of my manager's happens to be a complete idiot...but what if she asked me to do something completely reasonable i flat out refused...better yet, I refuse and begin to tear her, everyone I work with, and some random customer apart as a human being, slap someone, kiss someone else and stormed out shouting "Someone give me some fucking orange juice, the Antelope just trampled on the turnips next to my spleen!" ...I mean...would they fire me? Or just want to commit me...

What would happen if I throw a plugged in toaster or hairdryer into a pond? I think we all know the suicide scenario of dropping a dairdryer into the bathtub. Since years I ask myself: How far is the "radius" of "electrified water"? Would it kill all the fish in a pond?

Does my ex still think of me at all?

Will she come back? Even if not as my gf then just as a friend? Because I felt she knew me better than most people did.

Can I go two days without working out? Even though they're my rest days?

With the amount of times I look over my shoulder when I'm walking alone at night, do you think it would strengthen my neck muscles? If it does then I should alternate the shoulders since I only look over my right shoulder atm.

Will there ever be a clinical treatment for heartbreak?(Not that I'm "suffering" from that)

If a tree fals in the woods and no one is around to hear it, does it still make a sound?

Will there ever be true equality in the world?

Could I take on someone who brandishes a knife at me?

What is the meaning of life?

Do my tastes in music, food, girls, etc make me any less "black" than a "typical black guy"?

Will someone kill Mugabe?

Am I a bad person because I don't seek to resolve tension with my brothers?

How can people say "It would be in your best interest"? My best interest? How can YOU say what MY best interest is?

If I won the lottery would I really be able to stay the same and not be consumed by materialism?

Why do people kill each other? And even moreso over stupid little things like looking at someone in the "wrong" way. How the fuck do you do that? What's the "right" way to look at someone so that you don't get stabbed to death?

I wonder if I could pull off being a "rebound"

Why do some people hate me when I've done nothing to garner hate from said people?

If Gears 1 was "rushed" as Epic put it and still turned out an awesome game then does that mean Gears 2 will be the second coming of Jesus on a disc?

ok, I know its a classic of philosophy designed to make us understand that the universe may be a little more subjective than previously thought, but here's the problem with the logic of the tree falling in the forest bit:

sound is an operation of physics involving waves, molecular vibrations, and such so not requiring an observer. Now as far as the schrodinger's cat type aspect of without an observer did that tree fall, is the tree there, or the forest for that matter...yes even if simply for the sole fact that that question was asked even under the framework of an entirely subjective universe that tree now exists and fell because you asking the question established the scenario. Then knowing what we know of physics yes it made a sound.

if every McDonalds says, "over 9 billion served" wouldn't that mean that EVERY SINGLE PERSON ON EARTH has visited mcdonalds at least once?
Not really, it just means some of us are repeat customers A LOT more often than we should be.

My crazy thought? What if we all see different colors?

like where i see red, you see blue, but because of how we were raised we each believe we are seeing the same color!

there is no way to test or disprove this, and it keeps me up at night.[/quote]

That is an intriguing question. I've often wondered why it is that two and two equals four, and also if it's cruelty to raise animals in captivity for food, are all vegetable farmers also cruel for making their crops grow in straight lines?

Was once told by a vegan i was a hypocrite because i have pet cats and am a meat eater. They stated i wouldn't eat a cat for food, because it was pretty. I pointed out that a cow flap on my front door would be a bit of a security issue, and also asked them if they kept flowers in their house. They said yes, and I asked do you eat them? they said of course not don't be silly... Then walked off in a huff as they spotted how i trapped them, lol

got another one, slightly matrix flavoured.....

What is defined as real? Can you prove conclusively that this is real, and NOT some figment of my imagination? Is someone else's viewpoint as valid as mine? is that person real? Is this all a dream/ nightmare of the indidvidual's own making? that's one for the midnight number 2 visits.

Also, If heaven is above and hell is below, what does that make current plane of existence? Not religious, but i believe it would be Purgatory.... Think about it
