Half Life - an open-world Harry Potter RPG where you play as Voldemort.

Space Siege: You command a space station that is constantly under siege by pirates, enemy factions and other riff raff. What's worse, you're orbiting a planet far from your homeworld. You're cut off, and reinforces will take a long time to arrive. You are in charge of keeping everyone alive on the station. Your goal is to upgrade your defenses to combat the threats. Between every battle you can give orders to your crew and soldiers. You can research new defenses, send scouting shuttles to the planet below or quarantine damaged areas of the station. At the same time, you need to keep your people happy, however, this does not always coincide with keeping them alive. There will be feuds, hunger and other issues you must deal with. If you can't keep order with the limited supplies you have, the people might turn on you. There are also events from time to time, like people seeking refuge in your station. You have to decide if it's worth taking the risk of infiltration from the enemy. The game would be a rogue-like with two ways of losing the game, the station blowing up/captured by the enemy, or the people staging a coup to get rid of your tyrannical ass. I imagine this game would be like a "defense oriented" version of FTL, with some more crew management and base building strategy-elements thrown in. For accurate feeling, watch Stargate Universe.

Don't be fooled though since this is meant to be a really light action adventure game in the same vein as Castle Crashers or, Scott Pilgrim.

Nintendoland: Nintendoland is set up in a very similar style as Warioware if it somehow crossbred with Mario Party. Players choose from one of 2 dozen classic characters from the Nintendo stable and embark on a massive series of micro-mini games and, even classic levels from Nintendo games stretching back to Donkey Kong.

Injustice: Gods Among Us: Play as a man who believes himself to be God in this open-world sandbox title. Only YOU have the power to save the masses...or condemn them. Over the course of the game you take on missions that involve evoking the unclean, saving souls and, purging the land of any who stand before you (including other Gods).

Sleeping Dogs: You are a thief trying to steal a diamond held in a dog kennel, for some unknown reason that will later be revealed in a plot twist. You have to get through each level without waking up the dogs, and if they wake up their barking will send you on a psychedelic PTSD journey back to that time you worked as a dog handler. Will you survive? Will your sanity survive?

Splinter Cell: Conviction: You are a small time criminal who is convicted with stabbing your jail cellmate with a wooden splinter while on a 6 month stint for Breaking and Entering. Try and fight off the charge, removing evidence and committing perjury is so much fun!

Max Payne: You must try to survive your experience at school as being a nerdy kid with a slightly stupid name. Endings include running from home, and hitting your parents for giving you such a stupid name considering you are a weedy kid.

Deus Ex
i.e. Das Ex - You live in a German city, and must try and avoid your murderous ex who is trying to at first ruin your new relationship, and then kill you.
