BRILLIANT!! And actually...just "Asian" would have worked. Believe me, I'm Indian and bringing home anything less than a B- ran the risk of getting me expelled...from my family!

But on topic...

"Mass Effect" - You go on a fast food binge to gain weight and see the effect it has on your social life.

"Street Fighter" - Tired of constantly driving over pot holes, you wage a one-man war against asphalt.

"Limbo" - You enter a Caribbean dance contest to see just "how low can you go"!

"Journey" - You must procure tickets, attend and sit through an entire show performed by the latest incarnation of the 70's rock band Journey.

That...that would be pretty awesome.

Oh, now I have to contribute. Hmm.

Amnesia: The Dark Descent

A non-game in the style of Dear Esther or Journey. You walk down a spiral staircase, forever descending into the darkness below, picking up snippets of the character's life through paintings on the walls; swinging on a swingset as a child, crashing the family car as a teen, etc. The paintings would begin to use darker colours as the player progresses, until the paintings finally show the traumatic event that caused the "descent into darkness" they now find themselves upon. The story of the character would be randomized with every playthrough. One time the well-off character and his/her spouse experience a miscarriage, another time a car accident leaves the character permanently crippled, while another might have the character begin a downward spiral ending in an attempted suicide. There may even be a deceptively happy ending, where the character seems to be alright, but they're really in a mental asylum, hallucinating a better life...or something. I'm mostly just dashing these off as I think of them.

This thread is wonderful. Seriously, some of these plots are better than the games they're coming from!

Super Crate Box: You play as a warehouse/dock worker, moving around crates and lifting a box or two. But one day you come across the, you guessed it, SUPER CRATE BOX. It's power? INFINITE! The mystery of how it can be both a crate and a box? TITILLATING! However, there are those who want to use the Super Crate Box not for evil but for SUPER EVIL! It's up to you to keep the Super Crate Box out of evil's hands using your skills of moving crates and lifting boxes!

Spiral Knights: Imagine Monty Python and the Holy Grail but with more spinning. Yeah, that awesome.

Final fantasy

A historic documentory game set during the holocaust in which you play a small jewish child in one of the camps. To cope with reality the child uses his imagination to create several imaginary characters that suggest he do questionable things like stealing food/equipment, killing soldiers/officials, and prepare escape routes from the camp. We never name the Nazi's or people in these camps so the players historical knowlege might not interfere with their choices to follow the suggestions of the childs imaginary friends, which sometimes seem mad, or let things continue as they will.

At the end of the game one of three outcomes happens. 1. The child dies with their family in a gas chamber or during one of the Nazi's sorted human experiments 2. The child escapes the camp (maybe being killed during the escape maybe not) 3. The allies free the camp and save everyone. The endings would be randomly chosen at the beginning of the game and the player wont know which one they'll get if they wait

This would be an extremely dark but accurate game to show what conditions were really like in these camps
